These seemed really nice when we got them but there are issues. The linking to Google home is mediocre as we can't seem to change modes just turn them on or off.The mode options are VERY limited even though they are capable.My biggest issue is they seem to forget what mode they were in and reset to the default mode that is frankly kinda lame. We have some fun $8 lights that don't forget their mode so for $100 it seems like this should not be an issue.Some other info to help people decide if this is the right product or not. The "bulbs" are just the plastic lenses and are removable but the light itself is hardwired into the string. I assume that if a light fails then the entire string would be useless.With just the one mounting method I found them tough to install as the width of the screw hole is narrower than the bulb housing making them not want to sit flat against the wall when using screws.I guess with all of the good reviews I had higher expectations. In this case I don't think my expectations are all that out of line thinking the $100 lights should be able to profom as well as the cheap lights.

I've only had these lights installed a couple days and I actually don't have permanent wiring to them yet. Just finished my gazebo and the 48' long light string was a perfect fit. I wasn't real sure how to rate the brightness due to that is probably a personal preference. I think there are brighter lights but these were just right for me. They look very durable and I expect they will last a very long time. The bulbs to me are actually mini globes for each light. In each socket there is a small LED that shines down into the globe. The globe is a thick acrylic plastic that is certainly durable and very clear. I might need a Wi-Fi booster to add to my internet connection or I might not know enough to hook it up. Either way I'll get one of the kids to help me with that. There is a control box built-in that has several lighting options and an on/off button so Wi-Fi is not totally necessary. However there are a lot more features that can be performed by the app.

I must say these lights really amaze me! From the moment I picked them up on my front porch. The weight of them was impressive. I was reluctant on spending $130 on a set of lights, but now I am so happy I pulled the trigger! I unboxed them and WoW! A very good quality item! The cord is thick, The bulbs are solid. My fiance was really impressed and loved them also! That is a PLUS! I couldn't wait to get them hung on my screened in deck. I got the 48 ft set. Very easy to hang. Could be done with hooks, but I chose to use screws because I will never take them down. They were the perfect length for what I needed! It took me about an hour+ to hang them because I am a perfectionist and they needed to be just right! After they were hung and plugged in it took less than 5 minutes to get set up with the app and programmed to go on and off on a schedule. I do believe these complaints about the app not working or not being able to connect are from people who just aren't technologically intuitive or just didn't have patience and take the time to go through the instructions thoroughly. It really was simple.A friend of mine came over shortly after getting them hung and asked where I got them! I told him how much they were and that didn't matter to him...He loved them also! I have a feeling he will be getting a set! (Any perks for referring a friend?)I normally never give anything a 5 star rating unless I am completely impressed! This set of lights deserve a 5 star in my opinion. Granted this is on the first day of owning the item. Time will tell if I keep it a 5 star! For now...Definitely!Definitely worth the money! Without a doubt in my mind! Pull the trigger! I doubt you will be disappointed!The pictures that I added include a set of discontinued Atomi Smart white lights on the cieling. They are brighter than the smart color lights.

Not very bright at all. Durable, decorative and looks nice but won't sufficiently light an area

Enjoyed them when they worked. Bought to replace a prior set. Installed and in less than a month, they stopped working. I’m very disappointed. Would like to know if I could return them

The quality and flexibility is great. I love the look but the app disconnects within days and is a pita to reconnect. So I can’t control it easily when I want to make a change. Otherwise great.

These lights are Awesome! We Love that you can program when they come in and off. There is also a lot of options for what colors you want

I've had these lights for a while now. They're durable and work well. My biggest complaint?SET THEM SO THAT THEY WORK ON 5 GHZ!!!I have a dual band mesh wifi setup and there's no way to turn off the 5 GHz channel. It makes it a REAL pain to install. Come on Atomi! It's the 21st century and 5 GHz has been around for quite a while now.
