Q: Will this work with scs (show control systems) and allow me to assign sound cues to separate channels on my analogue mixer?

yes it will. you can assign multiple channels in scs, (up to 8 using the gigaport) either as stereo pairs or mono channels.

Q: Will this work with a macbook pro m1 (silicon chip)? i am using it to split the 4 channels of traktor.

not sure, it plugs into a standard usb port. I use a pc, not mac , but i imagine it should be ok
