Bought these to measure coffee accurately for espresso (for a zero retention grinder). Typically this means 15-18g of beans to make each individual "shot". Our existing kitchen scales weigh to the nearest 1g which means to within 7% for 15g. Not good enough if you're trying to get consistent results.Enter these KUBEI scales. They seem accurate but of course it's hard to tell if 15.00 g is really that. BUT I can say they're consistent. If I weigh out some beans at 14.96g (one bean weighs about 0.11g so you can't get exactly 15.00g unless you want to start cutting up beans) and then reset the TARE for a different container, and put the same beans into that container, they weigh within a few 0.01g. That's good enough for me, especially at the price.Display is really clear. I haven't tried the USB charger only the included AAA batteries.My only gripe is removing the cover (the tray) to use. I appreciate that it fits snugly to protect the scales but it can be fiddly. As long as they last I would recommend.

scales work fine, they were a little smaller than expected. These are fine as long as you arent exceeding 500 grams - the scales should work up to 1kg but cant seem to weigh more than 500 grams

The scales performed well. They were very accurate. Cleaning was a breeze. They were very affordable and the size was perfect.

The 'count' function seemed to be slightly more accurate when using a container (like a plastic cup) that had a smaller base area, rather than the main tray provided. Other than that, at this price point it's an excellent piece of kit.

The media could not be loaded. Never seen a set of scales do this before, if I didn't notice the hissing noise it could of been worse

The first i bought was not working so i order an other one. The refund was done with no problem and the new one works perfectly. i am very satisfied with this product.

I felt 3 stars was reasonable because they do the job, but they suffer from a strange phenomenon that when you add something to the scale the reading will start to fluctuate, so you're never entirely sure what the actual measurement is. Even after you let the contents settle and press the 'tare' button to zero the balance, if you wait momentarily it will start to change.
