Excellent cooler
Excellent cooler. I could bring my FX-6300 (105 W tdp) to less than 60C with low noise. Really effective and compact enough for small cases.

Everything is good but!
The cooler is good and can handle i5 CPUs, but putting it on lga 1700 sockets is too hard.

Great budget cooler
I upgraded from Athlon 3000g to Ryzen 5 4650g (CPU only) so I need to replace the stock cooler. I am not planning to OC the R5 4650g so this is fine with me.

Decent Cooling Performance, but Disappointed with Missing AM4 Bracket
I recently purchased the Antec CPU Cooler A400 RGB with high hopes of improving my CPU's temperature and adding a touch of flair to my rig with its RGB lighting. On the plus side, the cooling performance is indeed commendable, and the RGB lighting adds a nice aesthetic touch. However, my overall experience was marred by a significant drawback: the missing AMD AM4 bracket. The cooler itself performs well in keeping my CPU temperatures low, even during intense gaming sessions and resource-heavy tasks. The RGB lighting effects are vibrant and customizable, enhancing the visual appeal of my setup. Installation was relatively straightforward for my Intel-based system, and the build quality of the cooler appears to be solid. However, the reason I am giving this product three stars is the lack of the AMD AM4 bracket, which is explicitly listed as supported in the product description. As an AMD user, I was eagerly anticipating compatibility, but upon unboxing, I was disappointed to find that the bracket was nowhere to be found. This forced me to contact Antec's customer support, which added unnecessary hassle and delays to the installation process. While the cooler itself is undoubtedly a decent product, the omission of the promised AM4 bracket was a significant letdown for me. I hope Antec rectifies this issue promptly to ensure a better experience for future customers, especially those with AMD processors. In summary, if you are an Intel user looking for an affordable CPU cooler with eye-catching RGB lighting and decent cooling performance, the Antec A400 RGB might be a good option for you. However, if you're an AMD user, be cautious about the missing AM4 bracket and consider reaching out to Antec's customer support before purchasing to ensure proper compatibility.Disclosure: I received no compensation for this review and purchased the Antec CPU Cooler A400 RGB at the regular retail price.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbLEBi1LD4U

Cooling tower for i5-6600
Need to get rid of that noisy intel stock fan. This did a great job and it's running about 15 cooler at idle.

Not an easy install, but worth the money (just watch the case clearance)
Case clearance could be an issue for some, this thing would NOT clear my case plate if there was a fan on it, it clears by less than a 1/4 inch - and I've got a normal mid-tower case.Heat dissipation is a HUGE improvement over the stock intel fan and it runs very quiet, the PC monitor shows it never goes to 100% speed, even in my much too warm computer room (the heat wave is on right now; 114 outside and 86 in the house (AC just isn't designed for this heat))The install was not easy at all, as I didn't pull the MB to install it so it was a pain.

Worked very well for cooling.
I purchased this fan to replace my stock Intel fan on my i7 4790k. For comparison, the stock intel fan caused my processor to heat up to 80-100C when gaming. The Antec A400 immediately cooled my cpu down to 45-60C. Cooling wise, this fan is Great! I am no expert on computer hardware but I know enough to be dangerous, and for me, installing this inside of a full sized tower was still a bit tricky. The challenging part was clamping down the brackets onto the motherboard. It requires an immense amount of force to clamp the brackets. I recommend practicing the positioning before removing the plastic and applying the thermal paste. Visibility in seeing what your doing during install is difficult due to the size of the fan. All the local PC repair places near me were either not available or charged a ton for unnecessary services so I did it myself, and in the end I'm glad I got this fan and did the install myself.

quiet and dissipates the heat.
The heat sink was larger and heavier than I thought. Installing was very easy, except that it was so tall that I had to remove a baffle on the computer's case that had been used to funnel heat from the old heat sink's top mounted fan. The side-mounted fan on the new heat sink was lined up nicely with the case's back grill which will I believe improve heat dissipation. The large 3.5" side mounted fan makes less noise than the old 2.5" top-mounted fan, so if noise is a concern, forget it.
