works amazing
this size bottle will last forever for small projects like tumblers and bowls and coasters. Works amazing and dries rather slickly as well! I only rated four stars because over time I have noticed that both bottles weren't filled the same so I have more of one than the other and I am very careful with my measuring. Otherwise though, I highly recommend this product!!

Good product and would buy again
I got my project idea from searches and watching videos, so I have never used this product before or any epoxy product before.product came with easy to follow directionsI emailed the company asking a question about my project and received a response by next dayI like how with this product you also get measuring cups (must have), mixing spoons (must have) and smoothing tools (nice to have, but didn't use). All these are needed tools, so it was nice to get everything with one purchase opposed to having to buy all separate.I did steal a spatula from kitchen and an old water pitcher. nobody has noticed that they are missing yet. I used one measuring cup for resin and the second for hardener and same with mixing spoons. once I filled measuring cups I dumped into my old watcher pitcher and used spatula to mix.I was a little nervous to use this as I've only watched other people online (all different products), but I finally decided to go for it and mixed my first batch. the directions said to mix for 3 minutes, but I think I mixed a little longer to make sure everything was mixed. when the mixture ran clear I felt it was good to go. I don't know if I did everything correctly, but my project turned out good. I made a coffee table that is 32'' X 42''. I poured first mixture in the middle and watched it spread out. I realized I was going to need a lot more, so I made a double batch and again I made sure everything was mixed extremely well. Once I felt it was mixed I started second pour where I could see the first pour ended. it definitely self levels. I watched to match sure it ran into the corners which it did, so I went to opposite corner and continued the second pour. for third pour I used a single batch again and again mixed well. I started third pour in the spots not covered. My goal was for the epoxy to be level with the wooden coffee table edges and they seemed to be. After mixing each of the three batches the mixture ran clean, but seemed to have a lot of air bubbles. Once I completed all 3 pours most of the air bubbles were gone, but there were several I could see, so I used a heat gun to get rid of them. Just to make sure I went over entire area. my project was very level which may be why I did not need to use the smoothing tools, and as I previously mentioned, the product really self levels. Is my project perfect? No. I missed a couple air bubbles, but you only see them if you are looking for them. Most people won't even notice. Is my project perfectly level between epoxy and wooden edges. No, but the difference is minimal and again most people won't even notice.bottom line...its a good product that was fun to see it come together and if I was going to do another project like this or recommend a product to someone else i would recommend this product.

No Bubbles??!!! Whaaaatttttt!?!
I was pleasantly surprised that I did not see any big bubbles after mixing the resin and hardener. The tiny bubbles that I did see popped on their own. Because I couldn’t believe that there really were no bubbles, I used my heat gun anyway. My piece came out beautifully! This is the 3rd resin hardener combination that I’ve use. So far, it has become my number 1!

I don’t know how I feel
Okay. So this is my second purchase of dr craftys resin. the first one was one gallon (made 1/2021) and this time was two gallons (made 3/2021).so obviously my first batch was amazing and I bought it again AND double the amount. I really really liked this resin!!!! I still do, don’t get me wrong.During this batch I’ve noticed little clear particles in the thicker liquid. After many more uses I started to think it was tiny piece of clear plastic, maybe from the protective seal. But it was a lot, and in every single batch I made. It was almost impossible to get pictures of it, as they were clear. But definitely had some type of rigid edge as it looked like chunks of swirls that I still had to mix in.One day I had the hardest time ever pouring the thicker liquid, and when i rest my arm down to take a break, I saw a giant glob- that was supposed to be fluid-slide back into the bottle. Horrified I grabbed a popsicle stick and pulled it out. NOTE:the picture above is not this incident …it is the SECOND time that it happened and actually much smaller than the first glob. That’s right, two GIANT pieces of plastic were clogging it from pouring out right, and also collecting the liquid somehow??? I wasn’t upset until the second time this happened, which was last night. I had to pull it out of the bottle with my fingers because I couldn’t pour anything out, and now that Im closer to the bottom of the bottle there’s tons of little plastic pieces. Now I have a pretty significant uneven amount of resin parts as those two globs contained a lot of the thicker liquid. I also use a dropper to do smaller designs and these pieces kept me from being able to use those.I cannot find a website or even email to contact their customer service. So, I’m not sure where i’ll be going from here, as I really like this resin for my keychains, it’s got great mixing time and I get very little bubbles. But I feel like I just wasted a good 25$ because I have unequal parts now.
