Received this item to out of box have occasional on bottom half of the video and choppy audio. I contacted the manufacturer technical support line the day of receiving the product to have a cs Rep who didn't have a single tip in how to correct the issue. In fact he seemed confused where he was let alone on any advice to give. I hung up surprised and disappointed to try to correct the issue myself.The audio was temporarily fixed by upping the hz in recording devices to 48,000hz. Video was temporarily fixed by dropping OBS FPS settings to 20-30 (not as advertised). This fix only made it so the static would only be less frequent. After 2 days the unit died completely.I contacted Amazon support who connected me to the seller who then connected me to the manufacturer again. The manufacturer was out of office... I didn't leave a voicemail. Product returned.

We bought this to record gaming on our xbox one and we have had nothing but a nightmare trying to set it up so that it works. It took us 5 hours to get what we see on the tv on our windows computer but now when we record it does not store anywhere. It shouldn’t be this hard to record our gaming and will most likely be returning the device since we cannot get it to work properly or easily.

My son was asking for a video capture device, but most of them were overpriced for what you get. I stumbled across this one and decided to give it a try. The video captured is very smooth, and the audio is crisp and clear. Out of the box, it is very easy to setup and learn how to use. We have used it a bit now and have not experienced any issues at all. Overall, my son is very happy with it, and thus I am as well, as it provided what he needed at a very fair price. If you are looking for a way to capture gaming video or even Mac/PC video, this is a solid choice. Glad I bought it!
