Seriously good speakers
I bought a pair of these with a McIntosh amp and preamp. The sound is beyond belief, almost the best I've ever heard. I did hear something better at AXPONA, but the system was north of $100k. I think these speakers with all their drivers make for rather easy speaker placement, especially compared to electrostatic speakers. I have a rather large listening room with hardwood floors and 13+ foot ceilings, which add to the speakers acoustic merit. These are seriously good, providing very beautiful sound that is never fatiquging.So, are speakers costing 10k worth the money? Yes they are -- however you can get very enjoyable sound for less money. If you've got the bucks, these will be sure to please.
