First, they provide no documentation with the product, not even a scrap of paper that tells you where to find the documentation online. Would that be so hard? If you are going to be selling tech products to non-Chinese speakers - spend a few more yuan to make it complete and get it translated so that it is not ambiguous! It's important to understand the documentation correctly.Second, the pins are smaller and more closely spaced than normal breadboard pins - so breadboard jumpers do not fit snugly enough to make good contact. So keeping it running without soldering wires onto the pins is impossible.Third, the Amazon descriptions say nothing about the antenna. The one I received has a connector for an external antenna (no on-board antenna). So unless you go buy the antenna - which costs more than the module itself - you'll never know if it works.At this point, I'm fed up with it and will resume my search to find ESP2866 firmware to do simple UART->WiFi conversion.

Works fine as a router. But I am having trouble with flow control on the RS232 side. The only pins connected on the DB9 are RX, TX and Gnd. I need flow control to work and wonder if I jumper pin 8 (CTS) and pin 7 (RTS) on the DB9 to the corresponding pins on the daughter board connector if that will work.I need more documentation and this can work well. I need help.

The item was supposed to come with the mounting clip external antenna. Without it you can not attach an external antenna.

Worked for what I needed.

Was easy to setup after I learned how.
