Sub $500 beast!
The Weebill S is an amazing piece of hardware with many options to add on to it to suit one’s needs. I got the base packages this time and am very pleased with it. However, I would love to have a separate viewfinder and a focus tool to assist with shooting the perfect shot. The quick releases for the stands/grips would be a great addition for when swapping shooting styles.Opening the box: The Weebill comes in a company yet sleek package and every piece has its secure home in this package. Heck with a little modification, the packaging could become a reliable case! The body of the Weebill S is a strong plastic as one would expect on most modern electronics. The locks are made of a metal, my assumption is aluminum for strength without compromising weight and balance.Setup: First I attached the camera to the adapter via one of the three thumb screws provided. From there I attached it to the adjustable arm via the other two provided thumbscrews. As just like any other gimbal, one must balance the camera so that it does not overwork the motor. Having the 3 independently locking axis made this significantly easier.I attached a Canon 6D with a 24 105 Lens. I wanted to try this with something beefy to put the Weebill to the test. Remarkably, I got it to balance and function flawlessly on the first try! The controls we simple. Having previous experience with the little brother, The Crane M2, I had a general idea on how the modes worked. Pan Follow, Full Follow, Lock, and POV. Each are adjustable so that you can tune the motors to follow your movements exactly as you want. For less than $500 this gimbal is a steal! I highly recommend it.

By far the best gimbal I've owned
I've had a few gimbals over the past couple of years, and the Weebill S is better than all of them in every way.MY FAVORITE PROS- Compact and Portable: It's way smaller than my Zhiyun Crane 2, and even shorter than my Zhiyun Smooth 4, which is a smartphone gimbal- Being able to lock each axis individually is amazing. It makes balancing the camera so much easier, and travel way less frustrating- The motors are so much more powerful than anything else. I can stick a 5D Mark IV + Canon 24-70 f/2.8 on here with no problem (besides my arm getting tired). This makes using zoom lenses a practically possibility instead of having to carry around more, lighter prime lenses, so overall my kit is smaller and lighter.- Motor auto tune takes the guess work out of motor strength- You can change all the gimbal settings without a cell phone. This makes me so happy because I hate relying on phone apps to do anything- The underslung mode is way more natural and lets you get some low down shots much easier- There's more space for your camera. I can actually use the flip up screen on my a7R III in here (to a point)- Dual format quick release makes it easy to take the camera off the gimbal and use it handheld or on any tripod then put it back on without having to re-balanceCON (Only one so far)- I don't like the thumbscrews that require a coin or tool to fully tighten. I have others that are like this, but also have a little fold out ring on them to make it a tool-less thing. Not a big deal, and you can replace them if you really want

Powerful motors, easy to balance, easy storage,
Great product ! Brand new no tricks, other vendor sent me a used gimbal(as a new one) no issues with the gimbal, highly recommend! I use a Sony a7iii with tamron 28-75mm I balance at 28mm and during my shoots I extended my lense to 75 and although I know this means the motors work harder because it’s. It properly balanced, it has no problem holding the weight. I shot a whole heading with one charge of batteries. The batteries are amazing, still haven’t figured out how to charge my camera through the gimbals charging outlet. Hoping it’s compatible for Sony, also very easy to balance just make sure you tighten everything nice and tight

easy to balance
it is easy to setup and use except, the controls are on the handle. You should buy the handy grip attachment. But otherwise it is light and easy to use
