This jacket is a classic bomber, based on the authentic
aviator-style jackets worn years ago in the post war era by bush
pilots in the far North. At this time, pilots performed their own
aircraft maintenance on desolate, wind-blown Arctic runways,
where durability, warmth and mobility were vital. This jacket
will allow for even the most extreme movement while keeping you
nice and warm at the same time.
Made by Canada Goose, the Chilliwack Bomber was developed as a
nod to the styling and needs of post-war bush pilots in the
Canadian North. At a time and in places where pilots performed
their own aircraft maintenance on desolate, wind-blown arctic
runways, durability, warmth, and mobility were vital. The iconic
coyote fur ruff that surrounds the hood of the Chilliwack Bomber
ensured they wouldn't be frostbitten, and the premium Canadian
down insulation maintained core temperatures. The success of this
iconic Canada Goose jacket is evidenced by the fact that Canada
Goose jackets are still worn by northern pilots today and can be
seen on TV shows like Ice Pilots.
This bomber-length jacket offers a regular fit for greater
freedom of movement. A coyote fur ruff surrounds a two-way
adjustable hood for exceptional protection from the elements. The
storm flap over the two-way locking front zipper is secured with
hidden buttons to further keep the cold and wind at bay. The
elasticized, rib-knit cuffs and waistband also enhance the
jacket's comfort. Other features include two high, fleece-lined
handwarmer pockets; a pair of lower, fleece-lined pockets with
Velcro flaps; a utility pocket on the left sleeve for smaller
items; and an interior security pocket.
Made of 85 percent polyester, 15 percent cotton, the Arctic-Tech
shell weighs 190 grams per square meter (GSM) and sports a
durable water repellent finish. The plain-weave nylon lining
weighs 55 GSM and is also treated with a water repellent finish.
The insulation is 625 fill power white duck down.
Product Care
When your down-filled parka requires cleaning, it is important
that you take it to a dry cleaner and that you do not machine
wash it. Machine washing your parka will void the warranty. If
your parka has a removable fur option, remove the fur ruff before
dry cleaning. If you have a small stain on your parka, another
option is to spot-wash the parka with a bleach-free detergent and
water.
Manufacturer's Warranty
All Canada Goose products are fully warranted against defects in
materials and workmanship. If a product ever fails due to a

include repairs due to accidents, improper care, negligence, or
normal wear and tear. In such cases, Canada Goose will repair the
item for a reasonable charge. This warranty is valid exclusively
in the country of purchase through the original retailer.
