Inconsistent manufacturing quality
I have purchased two of these assemblies over the last few months to replace the factory assembly in my 2008 F-150. The fitment between the two was night and day.The first one fit perfectly without any extra effort. Unfortunately, the switch burned out due to a short in the window motor wiring harness. This was NOT the fault of the switch.The second one is where I ran into trouble. The top and bottom halves of the plastic housing were poorly aligned. This made it impossible to fit the assembly into the mounting location. As I didn't have time to send it back, I had to use a sanding drum on a Dremel tool to remove a significant amount of plastic to make it fit into the mounting location. Even after that, the switches were binding on the arm rest apertures which led to having to open them up slightly.That being said, once they were installed, they seem to work perfectly. My only real concern with these is the lack of quality control in the fitment.I would have added photos but was in a hurry to get this put back together.

It works!
It works! I have a 2006 Ford F-150 extended cab. This switch was ridiculously easy to install! After driving 3 hours with my driver window stuck down in the winter I new I needed to replace asap! I got it in 2 days and it works perfect. Best 14 bucks I ever spent.

Nice product
Like the fact this lights up and you can install it in about 1 minute flat with probably a butter knife lol i used a flathead screwdriver. Knocking off 1 star due to it's not consistent with the auto roll down it tends to stop with a inch or two of glass showing but hey it's a cheap easy fix and my old controls didn't light up!

I priced one at my local Ford Dealership and thought wow that is very expensive, tried Amazon, and I assure you the quality is just as good, I replaced one that I had that I purchased from Ford, that had been in my truck for less than a year, Saved a lot of cash, and so easy to install, I guarantee you can't go wrong
