The Art of Making Pie: A Practical Guide to Making Homemade Pies

First off I'd like to say that my mother, MaryAnn, is a wonderful piemaker (and my sister Joanie - - a piemaker in training.) The book is simple with black & white photos, along with "ingredients" and "directions" sections for each pie. There's 25 pies in total including lemon, apple and coconut fudge, to name a few. The book is nice in that it doesn't overwhelm you with hundreds of recipes. (Would've gladly paid $5 more for sturdier pages, darker text and color photos.) All in all though, Daniel's made a very fine effort here.
