MunchkinTwisty Figure 8 Baby Teether Toy, BPA Free, 6+ Months

I have been eyeing this toy at Amazon for quite a long time, but thought it was a bit pricey for "just" a teether/clutch toy (I am cheap and get most of our toys at consignment sales). Finally I just bought it, and my baby loved it immediately. He is barely old enough to start clutching toys (about 3-4 mos. at the time I gave it to him) and this one was very easy for him to grab in his tiny little fist and hang on. It also was easy for him to get it to, and into, his mouth. Again, this guy's VERY young. Sometimes it would slip up his arm, like a bracelet, and he couldn't get it off, but he'll be able to when he's bigger.He likes it alot, and we like it because it's colorful, small, portable, durable, twisty (so it appears to be different shapes all the time), and easy to wash.I suspect the reason it's not supposed to be immersed is because of the clear sections that contain little balls that rattle. If it soaked in water for a long time, small amounts of water could seep in there and probably wouldn't easily come out. I do immerse it in hot soapy water briefly, give it a rub, and rinse it immediately, and have no issues. Similarly, I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher because I suspect the heat would damage either the plastic or rubber parts. But I don't understand the reviewers who say they can't clean this thing.It's sometimes impossible to predict if *your* kid will like something before he/she tries it, but this one was a hit for us. It was well worth the money, as are most other Munchkin products.

We have twin boys, and bought them two different teething rings recently -- this was one of them.They love them both - for different reasons. We got them both this Munchkin ring and the  Nuby Bug A Loop Teether Bead, Colors May Vary . They like the soft texture and flexibility of the Nuby ring.This ring is different - the links, or sections, are all stiff, though some have a soft coating on the outside. As a teething toy, the different textures on the various sections are great to give the baby some variety. Sometimes, they like chewing on the softer sections which have different molded textures. Sometimes, they like to chew on the hard plastic sections. It must be for them like choosing between Mounds and Almond Joy - sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. Sometimes the baby wants to chew something hard, sometimes (s)he doesn't.Some of the hard plastic sections have little pieces inside to work like a rattle. Don't worry - nothing's broken - that's the way it's designed. As a parent, I appreciate that the rattle isn't too loud at all.I find that the babies like this just as much as a toy as they do for it's teething qualities. They like to play with its various configurations, changing shapes, etc as they manipulate the sections.This has provided hours of entertainment and is almost always one of the items that we throw into their carseats or the diaper bag when we go out.Five stars for sure!

My six month old is obsessed with this toy! Great colors! And very functional and safe! We can’t get it out of her hands!

It didn’t last more than 24 hours in my house because my dog chewed up the wooden beads.

I actually bought this as a toy for my rabbits. It looked bright and fun, so I bought it based off those thoughts alone, and I didn't notice the "rubbery" pieces - which could've been bad had my rabbits chewed on them! But I cut through them with a box knife, so now the toy is naked and very bunny-safe. (In the picture there are only three parts because I tossed the purple one first.)It was quite difficult to cut through the soft parts though, definitely making it safe for baby teeth. Very well-made, fun to throw, safe to chew. I recommend for teething human children or furry children who like to throw and/or chew!

This is just ok. My baby has no interest in putting it in her mouth nor playing with it or holding it. It just doesn’t seem to grab her attention like other toys/teethers.

bought for my son… which he loves, but i’m just as obsessed over it!!! great fiddle toy, it rattles and the texture is nice!

Mi bebé de 3 meses y medio ya lo agarró y le encantó, tal vez está muy grande para é porque es a partir de 6 meses pero sin duda es una excelente compra. Lo único es que al material se le pega rápido el polvo y hay que estar pendiente de estarlo limpiando constantemente.

This is easily my babies favourite teething toy, she is 4 months old and can easily grip it, and it's nice and easy to hold in her mouth

I just received this, so won't say much on how the baby likes it, but from what I can see its a little too thick for the baby to chew. The colors and the textures are nice, but sound can barely be heard. Overall, I'm not impressed.Will update review if baby likes it better over time.

思った以上によく動いてビックリ。音も静かなので、外出用にぴったりです。水色のゴムの部分の表面が汚いところがあったのでマイナス。娘が気に入ってくれるといいです。
