Not bad too get a truck system working. Good for 4ch setup. copper & RCA OK. terminals ,screws.
Got this just too get a little bass in my 03 gmc 1500 RC-LB. The kit comes w/ everything youll need too run a AMP in wherever/whatever you want. The main power and rca, remote wires are long enuff for any fullsize eg-full cab truck, and or coupe. Maybe even a mid size 4door or bigger car.I tucked myne and hid them pretty good, ran from under hood battery, and head unit along driverside kick and door sill panel. and still had plenty of wire. about 6-8ft id say. Didnt wanta cut it till i figure out what im going to do exactly with my system. Just using this kit too get some sound started. Bit of thump. and i can add or upgrade later..The main power wire is good quality. The fuse block is OK... just a rubber housing with fuse inlne..The RCA's are also fine for sneaking up too head unit. Plug in clean.Remote wire a bit like HAY-BALE string, but actually is fair quality copper inside.Ground wire is long enuf too do its job.Came with all terminals, and cpl screws.I crimped the main power/ground terminals on the ends w/ a vice & vice grips. held good. lite crimp & solder be better... But they Fit in amp good. The Main power @ battery supply- eye is a bit small for side post battery. I just split the eye, and spread it apart, put it behind the POS bolt w/ a thin washer. cut a notch outta side of rubber insulation a bit on battery cable. Been holding up for a week now.I only wish i went with 0,1, or 2gauge. This wires a bit smaller then I remeber, and only good for a 4-500 watt amp max.. Then again I didnt think the cheap 3800 watt wudi amp I got for 50$ was gonna actually be as good as it is. It dims lights when idle, and will go in too protect mode if bass is more then 30% on the amp setting. This kit is obviously Not the right size for any hard hitting subwoofer. But i was too cheap too buy the 0G kit.. now i gotta deal w/ it..Would be fine for any 4ch amp, or any amp setup not running 10-12" sub.. Still, itll get you working i guess. This is just same kit you useta get at walmart back in 2003.. Nothin diff.. Except extra terminals, and actually good quality stranded fine copper cables.. w/ nice 20+ft of 14g? speaker wire. Didnt need but will use. This would be a better kit for someone running a 4channel amp and 4 speakers in a extended cab/4door truck. even a small-medium car.. And under 1000w.. Its been years since i wired a system. Forgot all the specs, and sizes, Forgot how much juice these systems really draw.. Def' would look into a capacitor.Or the old backyard mechanic trick, a small motorcycle or deep cycle battery by amp LOL... Helps keep amp from dimming, goin into protect mode if you can afford a capacitor..

I'll buy this again for my next budget build
Great value for the amplifier installation essentials! It's not all copper and gold because you don't need that to get decent power to most amplifiers. Installed correctly this can provide enough power to almost any amplifier budget amplifier.

No es cobre 100 cien por ciento

Very nice kit.
Very nice kit. Mounted a Pyle powered subwoofer in my Jeep Liberty in the back. Wires were just long enough to reach from the battery all the way back to the back. Very nice quality. I only used the power, remote, ground and speaker wires. I did not use the rca cables as my factory stereo did not have those outputs and I didn't use any of the connectors as I soldered my speaker wires to the factory rear speaker wires in the door pillar and the subwoofer connector. Works perfectly

This wasn't purchased for a permanent install...
Because of how the audio systems in new cars (in my case, a 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV) are designed, I wasn't sure I'd be able to get a system installed properly, and be happy with it. Because of this, I ordered one of the cheapest 8ga kits I could, so I could use it with an existing amplifier I had from a previous car, to see if it could help.Prior to this, I had replaced the muddy / distortion-filled OEM paper cone speakers with a pair of JBL GTO609c's in the front and GTO629's in the rear. The third party speaker rings did NOT work well with these drivers (they just sounded terrible -- no bass, sounded 'hollow'). I found someone had created a set of rings for GM vehicles that were far taller, which for some reason made the speakers sound much better. The issue I had was that the OEM amp just couldn't properly drive these speakers. So -- I purchased this amp wiring kit, hooked up a two channel JBL 200w amp I had from a previous vehicle, and connected up the front pair of speakers. MAN, what a difference! I've since ordered an AudioControl D-6.1200 (as I need the DSP functionality to remove as much of the OEM tuning as I can), and I'll be ordering a properly sized amp wiring kit for this amp.In short -- this 8ga kit did exactly what I needed. It'll now get stuffed back into its package and sat on my shelf, for the next time it might be needed. :)

Nice complete install set
Used it on my own install. Went in great, I’ve had no issues with it since. It’s been in running a system that maxes out at just under 700 watts since June. It’s a good buy.

Should have looked more closely
I wasn’t impressed with this kit. In retrospect, I should have looked at it more closely at the info. I bought the scosche name brand because I thought it would be better quaility. Package didn’t have the name brand on it anywhere that I could tell, but that doesn’t mean it’s not theirs. I’m not crazy about the gigantic blade fuse, just seems kind of cheap. But the worst thing about the kit is not enough ground wire. I hook ground for amps straight to the battery. This came with 2’ of ground wire. Now I’ll have to source 12’ of 8 gauge wire for a ground.
