Great case, solved my problem!
Great case. My Problem was; I had an otter box but it was very bulky. I took the hard outer layer off just to be able to fit it in my pocket. After use, the rubber outer layer became loose and wouldn't stay on, allowing dirt and trash to get in. The solution; I bought this unicorn beetle case because it was thin, low profile and had hard/stiff outer edges. It fits in my pocket much better and the edges are soft enough to absorb impact if dropped but rigid enough that it will not move. (I've dropped it a lot!) The port covers are even hard on the outside and thick rubber on the inside. They are durable and will not break off like other cases will. The covers stay put when installed yet they are easy to pull out when you need to plug something in. They have a nice tight fit with no chance of dust or dirt getting in. I've used it for about 2 months now and it still looks and feels just as good as it did out of the package. I'm a heavy equipment mech, the phone stays in my pocket at work. I am rough on phones and cases. The price was great too. I would recommend this.

Solid case, great bang for your buck.
Exceptional case, especially given its price tag compared to ones like the Otterbox. I don't really use the included belt clip much, but it too is of a good quality and works very well.Case goes on very snug. Phone looks and feels secure. All openings for camera, buttons, sensors, and so on are well aligned to the phone. The covers for USB and audio are easy enough to get at when needed, yet stay closed when they should.Belt clip is solid. Holds the case and phone secure. Single clip to remove phone is easy enough to work with one hand. Swivel is very rigid so as not to turn when you don't want it to.I think my only real complaint about this case is where it goes from the screen area on the bottom to being the rubber material again is a bit lower the it needs to be. So it shows a small sliver of the phones case. Not any sort of issue, just all nice black around but a stripe of the phones silver color at the bottom kinda stands out.

Research found this case to be the best for the LGG5
Research found this case to be the best for the LGG5. What can I say other than I'm glad I did my research? Phenomenal build. Excellent quality. Some will knock the fact that it's difficult to take on and off to make swap out batteries, but I appreciate the case's rigidity and tight-fitting edges--this is a sign of a well-made and durable case. In addition, it wasn't long before I developed a technique that allows me to change the case and swap out batteries in <1min I'm not going to spoil the "how to" part. Figure it out yourself by following these easy instructions:Lay down a microfiber towel. Turn off phone. Take an ID card, or debit card (not credit card--can you guess why?), etc. and slide it into the slit between front-face frame plate and main body case. Nudge it along the edge to loosen the body from the plate and slip your finger in, drop card, and proceed to move your finger around the edge of the phone, gently uncovering the corner pieces (weakest parts). Once removed, place body on towel. Hold phone with both hands and use fingers to lift phone from the plate at the corners. Phone should pop out. Do the battery exchange thing. (I like to give my phone a quick wipe front and back to remove dust oil, etc.). Then, snap plate on. Important part: slide top part of phone into main body case first since headphone jack is most sensitive (and weakest) part of the case. Then do sides. Then pull over bottom. Final press to enclose on all edges. Microfiber swipe one more time. Done. Too many words, but use technique and get case on and off quick to exchange battery and get going. lastly, the holster is a boss--solid clip for belt, loop, backpack, visor--secure fit and unremittingly capable. Picky customers will find something to knock about this case. Ignore them. This case rocks and deserves hard credit.

I am rooting for this case!
So if you have an LG G5 you have probably taken the route I have and tried to find a screen protector and case combo that will work with not much luck. With the new bend at the top of the G5, using a tempered glass protector is not desirable as it leaves a portion of the phone uncovered. I tried the PET plastic ones and they're just horrible. So I read someone else’s review in this section and that they popped the plastic screen protector out and used a tempered one in its place, which is a great idea except the tempered will leave a gap of coverage from the case to the protector. Not a good idea and it looks horrible, trust me I tried it.I had the Supcase for the G3 and loved the body but hated the screen protector, which is why I was thinking about popping out the plastic one until I got it and thought, hey I will give it a try. Let me say they have obviously been listening to the feedback as the protector is a lot better on this model than previous ones. The protector sits closer to the phone’s screen on this model so you do not get that feeling of a gap when you tap. It's smooth and responsive BUT, it still needs some improvement in quality. The protector does give some rainbow effect on the protector but this is easily resolved and typical with this kind of setup. Solution: Take some baby powder and shake it up with the lid closed for a minute to create a dust cloud inside. Bump the bottom on a hard surface to drop down any that stuck at the top inside. Open and squeeze to "puff" the baby powder up while holding the inside of the case screen over it and it will give it a light coat of powder. Clean excess off. Replace the case and voile – fixed the rainbow issue. In addition, I know from before lint and dust will get in behind the screen protector and the solution is to grab some canned air and blow it out.SUPCASE pay attention: If they would just put a protector with olephobic coating (which resists oil) to deter the fingerprints then this would really be a great case. Let’s move to the body of the phone. Someone posted in the reviews the case dented their G5 so I checked mine and I do not have that issue however, it is a bit cumbersome to take the case off if for example you wanted to swap a battery. The reason is because the phone sits on the section of the screen protector then you put the backside on after, which could be why the other person dented theirs if they went back case first and topside second. If you go back first then front you are forcing the phone in the wrong way. They give a link in the packaging on how to install, it's really east just requires some effort.Aesthetically the phone is sleek and very nice to look at. I got the black and love it. I had the blue before and it was OK. It feels really good in the hand as the G5 is slim by design and will slip in the hand without some kind of case on it. SUPCASE resolves that and an added bonus; it doesn't make it terribly thick. There is some added weight and keep in mind this is a heavy duty case so if you are looking for slim, sleek and lightweight this is not it. If you are looking for sturdy and protective this is it. The cutouts are precise and there is no issue using the fingerprint scanner. Picture cutouts are good as well. This phone is not waterproof and the headphone and charging ports that are covered are designed to keep out pocket lint that mucks it up. They serve a purpose and the way they are molded in and attached I think they will hold up. They did before so I don't doubt it now. So overall my opinion in this lengthy review is that this phone is a great design with room for improvement. It wouldn't take much for this phone to be a 5 star so I am giving it 4 because of the screen protector. I do not write reviews often except in the case that the product is really bad or in this case there is so little information out there for a new phone I hope this helps someone else. So I am rooting for this case but if it goes south I promise I will update this review and alert others of any issues I may run across. God bless.
