Good inexpensive multi meter. Read tons of reviews and took a chance on this one. After a quick read of the instructions it is almost intuitive to use. The biggest complaint in the reviews of other meters was cheap leads, and these seem pretty decent. It has a nice beep feature and it doesn't take forever to settle on a reading. The

I had 3 cheap old multimeters in a drawer and couldn't get a zero read on what should have been a continuity test on any of them. (On ohms setting, if you touch the leads together, you should get zero, and your unit should be working right.) So I started doing my Amazon homework and ended up with this unit, which also happened to be on sale. This one had what my other 3 did not, a built in continuity test with audible tone. It worked correctly when done the standard way as well. So I used it for testing capacitors and it worked great. I love the built in lead clips for storage too, and setting for checking live lines. I am quite satisfied, definitely recommend for the average user.

Decent DVOM for the Price and quality

Works great, easy to use, I love the display light which is very useful in dark places like under dashes, in garage, crawlspace or attic. Lots of features so not much else ever needed.

This multimeter is awesome. It have everything a regular multimeter have plus more. My favorite is the backlight feature, you can work no matter if it's day or night. I haven't have any problem with it so far it's still working perfectly.

It's accurate, robust, and reliable. The speaker is loud and clear with no issues. Better than many $40-50 multimeters you see in stores.

A very important specification is the input impedance of a digital meter when measuring DC Voltage. Typically, this spec is 10 Million Ohms. I could find this spec nowhere on Amazon's web site, so I took a chance and ordered this meter. The pamphlet that comes with this meter lists this spec as 10 Million Ohms. To confirm, I measured using a 6 Volt Battery in series with a 10 Million Ohm resistor and the Meter. Sure enough, the Voltmeter read 3 Volts. I really like this meter and it should be handy when troubleshooting automotive electrical problems.

It did arrive with battery connected, so that was flat. It was smaller than it appears in the graphics, but maybe I did not read the full description so did not know the size. It has a place for leads to click into holding brackets on the rear, but I cannot see any way for the leads to wrap around in any way that they will not be bent at the ends where they can break eventually.Having said those things, it seems a nice solid practical meter and easy to use with all the functions one would expect. The leads feel like good quality. And the slightly soft case feels like it would cushion an impact if dropper. Well worth the price.

EDIT: The seller contacted and offered a free replacement. Satisfied with customer support.This was supposed to be a good purchase considering such good reviews, mine arrived and seemed bad unit out of the box. The screen kept blinking and beeping every second with dial on any position. Tried to read the provided documentation, checked official website, checked QA and also product reviews for all AstroAI models to find if someone had such an issue but nothing found. Started a return with Amazon, but later wanted to test replace the battery just in case. I got lucky and the unit seems to be working fine now after the battery change.Battery (PKCELL Extra Heavy Duty) has an expiry of 12/2024 but seems to have died way before. No way i could identify the issue because turning on the unit was not showing a dull screen but the screen blinked with full dark colors. The unit has a battery indicator but instead of throwing a warning that way, it gave me a blinking screen and continuous beep every second. For the quality, not sure how good the unit is (yet to tested) or how long this unit will last but i feel like the basic functionality of identifying a low battery failed on this unit.
