Selectable input Voltage quit working in 3mo
I loved this amp when I first hooked it up. I selected 2v input and wired two skar 10s into 2ohms in a sealed box. This amp pushed the 10s perfectly. They beat hard. The selectable 2v input quit working within 3mo. Could be a fluke with my particular amp. Now I can only run the amp on the low input voltage setting and have to turn the gain all the way up. It doesn’t have the output power it did prior to this malfunction. I’m considering trying to have it repaired under manufacturer warranty but buyer has to pay shipping both ways. As cheap as this amp is it could be easier just to buy another amp.

Best car amp out there for the money.
I bought two of these amps. One for my wife's car sub and one for mine. WE are both running 12" subs in vented boxes and they sound fantastic. With the warranty provided by Amazon (4 years parts and labor) it is an absolute no-brainer. Neither of us is using ours with the gain turned much past halfway point, and these amps rock our vehicles. I really don't see spending any more money than this, as I don't think you could ever hear an improvement in sound. They are truly a find. Buy one and you won't look back, We run ours for hours on end, inot a 4 ohm load, and these amps never even get warm. The SQ is fantastic..I have one question though.....Why are all these people buying these terrible speakers? All the ones I have heard mentioned like kickrs and others are absolute junk. terrible....do yourselves a big favor and buy a Dayton audio speaker......any of them...just make sure the parameters fit your use, and the volume fits your box...and you will have a new amp again, and a much better one, because until you upgrade speaker drivers, you are being held hostage by inferior speakers that you have been lead to believe are really good, and they are NOT....they are really terrible in comparison to what is available. Don't pay for the big companies' advertising campaign expense in promoting this stuff and buy yourself a really great driver to go with this fine amplifier..

Powerful on a budget
Like the other reviewers, this off-brand made me a bit skeptical, however, I've been surprised and with Amazon's return policy, I gladly took the chance.I had previously had a 1000W amp installed to 1 10" xplode (not the best sub, but it was free). It was so-so and the amp needed to be replaced. I quickly swapped in the 2KW planet audio amp and wow was it amazing. FYI, my previous sub was connected with 2 gauge +12v and ground wires.Installation and configuring took about half an hour and I even routed the controller up under the front dash for easy sub control. In my 2005 Ford F150, the routing is very easy.Configuring the amp was easy! Everything was labeled with ease; just needed a little screw driver to change the dials as i listened to different music. It was easy to fine tune.As for the remote, I pretty much just cranked up the amp and let the head unit (Pioneer) and remote control it (since the amp was tucked behind the seat). Easy control, i can get from no-to little-to A LOT of bass, very quickly. The sound is phenominal, I've never had this crappy sub 1) sound this good (no crackles or weird resonance) and 2) get this loud. I pushed nearly to the amps max and it still sounded great.All-in-all this was a great purchase! Heavily encourage anyone who is looking for a cheaper sub/2 speaker amp to get this! Feel free to ask any questions for install!

Not a bad amp. No where near 2600 watts but I ...
Not a bad amp. No where near 2600 watts but I knew it wouldn't be. If I had to guess maybe 500-800. Gets very hot make sure to ground it well and remove the paint on the frame. Highly recommend elevating it off the box. Put a few wood blocks 2x1 inch then nail or screw the wood on the box then mount the amp on the wood. Amps noticeably cooler now.I'm pleased with the amp but its the 1st day only time will tell if it lasts and if anything happens I'll update this!

504 watts RMS
First and foremost, we know this amp isn't really 2,000 watts. There's an equation that you can plug in the numbers to your amp and really figure out what this thing can do RMS wise. Mathematically anyways. It's not really real-world results but it's close to it.Usually, you can figure out the amount of amps this thing draws by adding up the rating on the fuses. Mine came with two 25's.Okay, the equation is: Volts x Amps = Watts. 14.4 (while the vehicle is running) x 50 amps draw = 720 watts rms.Now you have to factor in the amps efficiency which is about 60-70 percent for a class AB amp which this one is. So 720 watts minus 30 % = 504 watt rms.Equations aside, this is an awesome amplifier! I think it looks really good, it's made out of awesome materials, and it kind of lights up blue. The Planet Audio logo is just plastic. The Anarchy text subtly lights up blue when the amp is powered on.I love all of the options this amp provides, I absolutely love how it comes with a remote so you can dial in the level that you want on top of your preset level on the amp itself, and it's really quiet. No fans. Just passive heating technology, which is fine! I haven't used this amp for extended periods of time. About an hour at most, and it hasn't overheated on me. I hope this amp lasts me a long time as for I'm really happy with it and I'm really hoping it stays that way!

Super Impressed!
My sony explode 8 year amp stopped working. All fuses and wiring looked good. I got this amp for its value to see if my amp was the problem. Hooked it up. Still no power. So I decided to change the 80 amp fuse under the hood. Everything powers up. I was absolutely impressed with the power this amp puts out. My jaw dropped and with two inches of snow on the roads I just had to take it for a test ride so I didn't piss the neighbors off. I had no idea my 2 12" polk db's were capable of what I heard. My eyeballs were shaking. I will re edit this post Ina month after really pushing the amp. Definitely gonna stay with this one over the Sony for now. 5 stars so far

Deep bass filter
Well well well I would have never thought that this amp (2000watt) would stand up to the challenge. For the very little money you spend and a 2000watt amp, this thing differently moves power to my subs. When I pulled up to the house my wife said that she could she the juice in her cup ripple when she was sitting in the deck, and for the sub control I love it, works perfect. So for the cheap price compared to other bands with you pay twice or triple has much its worth it for me. I honestly wasn't expecting much but so far I was wrong.

Cheap?Yes Cheap?Yepp
It did sound good for the few months it lasted. I never had a 2000w amp before to compare it to but it wasn't much more than my 1000w Kenwood exclelon
