Work as intended.
I use these (pack of 2) for my work. I work in heavy industry and do a lot of work at height. I use these to secure my tools, preventing them from falling. They work perfectly. Been using them for a couple of weeks now and had no issues. I would say they arent quite as sturdy as some tool lanyards Ive used - I wouldnt use them for heavier tools or power tools, but they are perfect for things like spanners, screwdrivers, torches etc.Recommended.

Tool lanyards
A must have when working at height with tools. They are easy to use and enables you to secure your tool to either yourself, ladder or scaffold without the worry of dropping it from height or it falling off. They also come in handy as you don't need to be holding said tools all the time and while climbing up and down so means you get full use of your hands.

Good for working at height
This pair of lanyards are good quality. They are sturdy enough to carry quite heavy tools when working at height. Perfect for when you’re up the ladder and the risk of dropping something below may harm someone so you want a retention the straps have a bungee to take the shock out of the fall. Should you drop a hammer or something similar, one end of the lanyard will securely fasten to an anchor point on yourself and on the other end is a karabiner for a quick and easy removal and adding different tools. These are very good very useful. The only way of thing was a funny smell upon opening, but this soon disappeared.

BearTOOLS - Tool Lanyard with Single Carabiner and Adjustable Loop End (2 Pack)
If you ever work from a ladder or on a roof, you will undoubtedly have had that horrible feeling or a near miss of your cordless drill or other hand tools slipping to their doom. A drill can obviously be replaced, but will quite easily kill somebody if it hit them or cause serious damage to property below, so a simple solution is to attach your tools to yourself or your ladder/scaffolding, etc using a simple Lanyard such as this one from BearTools..You basically have an elasticated webbing strap that measures approximately 85cm in length when not under load and stretches to approximately 130cm.I have previously had a couple of cheaper branded lanyards that come with simple snap gate karabiners, but these ones from BearTools feel better quality and have a safer screw gate karabiner to prevent accidental opening of the gate. The karabiner can then be clipped to a harness or tool belt. At the opposite end of the webbing is a strong elasticated cord with a plastic toggle that is used to attach your tools – i like to create a crows foot knot to form a loop that can be placed over the handle of drills, etc and then slide the toggle down against the knot to prevent it coming undone. The manufacturer says the lanyards have a maximum safe working weight limit of 8KG.***** In The Box *****2 x Tool Lanyard***** Conclusion *****I have several cheaper lanyards from other brands that i have been using for quite some time and i have been using one from BearTools (Model Number 0931BA), and can safely say that the BearTools version is definitely a couple of steps up in terms of quality. These model 0922S’s feel very decent and i like the design, but unlike the 0931BA, these ones are not ANSI approved and the screw gate karabiners aren’t as good quality and feel a little cheap in comparison. I also feel that the plastic toggles could do with being slightly larger, as they are at their limit making it extremely difficult to push the button in and slide it down the cord (this does of course have a small advantage in that it is unlikely to accidentally slip undone).Price wise, these do cost quite a bit more than the cheap ones i bought, where i paid £20 for 6, as opposed to £18.50 for this pack of 2, however i do feel that the higher quality is worth the extra cost and does offer good value for money.
