U.S./World Primary Wall Map Combo Roller (Primary Classroom Wall Maps) Map – January 1, 2009

I am the mother of 3 children that I home school. We had a smaller version of this map that we had hanging on our wall but really wanted something larger that could be easily put up out of the way so we could free up more wall space for other learning charts. The map is an excellent size, easy to read and a great basic map that my children an I will enjoy. It was just what we were looking for. The reason I gave the item 3 stars is that in the items description it states this item comes on a spring roller with a backboard. The backboard coming on it is what made this such a great deal and would have made making the map easy to hang as I already have the brackets hung on the wall for use on maps with backboards. Unfortunately this map came with no backboard, only with brackets to hang it up like a traditional window shade. I was lucky enough to have an extra backboard from an old unused map and my husband helped me switch them out so I could hang and use this map combo set.I tried contacting the company that makes the map and have received no help or offer to exchange it.

I initially ordered this map for my husband who is a geography/travel enthusiast. He loved it! It is hanging on our living room wall and is always a conversation piece! My brother in law loved it too, so we recently ordered the same for him and he is thrilled with his-plans to hang it in his office. This is a map of quality and size, like you remember seeing in a classroom in grade/high school classrooms.
