My elite controller had the rubber grips on the top side coming undone. The controller is about 4 years old. I bought this white top as a replacement. Feels great, looks good, and was simple to install. I had no issues taking off the old cover. The quality is what I would hope for.

Bought more Extremerate faceplate. Love the look of the clear green and blue, really evokes the old school OG Xbox clear coloured controller feeling. Overall, the plastic used is good. The tabs feel improved over their Clear faceplate a bit. Nice and sturdy and I didn't break any tabs on installation on either of them.Overall, highly recommend these new clear colour variants. They're awesome and breath new life into the controllers.

Feels nice and an improvement overall for the elite 2.

The good is that they look great when new and are easy to install. The bad is that the design fades very quickly and the rings are too soft so they get small indentions that give a grindy feeling on the sticks. I wouldn't buy another with a design. They should probably come with several extra sets of rings. Metal rings would be ideal. Still the best option out there.
