AN-GATOR

Brutus has been floating in our pool since April. He's very light and we don't treat him like a toy - he wouldn't last long at that I'm afraid. But - he's good at keeping the ducks away. Since we tossed him in we haven't had one come anywhere near the pool. He get's full son all day and is fading some, but he's still doing his job. When he passes, we'll definitely get another one just like him!

This alligator floaty in particular is my absolute favorite! It’s been a game-changer in keeping my pool clean and free from iguanas and raccoons. They’ve been using it as a toilet, and I’ve had to deal with the unpleasantness of iguana poop. But now, thanks to this floaty, I’ve no more worries! I’ve tried other floaties and floating heads, but they’d fade and stop working after a while. The only downside is that they lose air quickly and can’t seem to find a hole to fix. But hey, I’m willing to keep refilling it rather than having iguanas poop all over my pool!

Very realistic. Used him for a kid's jungle party, putting him in the pond. Our dogs went wild as they thought he was real. Smaller than expected for the price, but should have considered he is only 49" in description. Just a bit too expensive for what he is, but give him a 5 if he was the size of a real life gator especially for the higher price.

I just got this item two days ago because I am getting tired of all the duck pool parties in my yard. The ducks are really cute but they make a mess and one year decided to nest in the yard next to the pool. I was excited about this as a possible way to keep the ducks away. Given that my home is geographically located close to where real alligators exist, I thought some of our local ducks might be wary of the threat of this reptile. But no, a few hours after I put it in the pool the ducks were back. They simply looked at the blow-up alligator and kept on partying.The item is cute enough that I will keep it. But It isn't real durable and may be unable to stay inflated for long periods of time. The coloration is sort of life-like but the head shape is off. I don't think any of this really matters to the ducks. They just keep swimming......
