My favorite book of the series
The strategy presented here works. Credit Spreads are incredibly easy to manage. I recommend this book to friends and family because this strategy is so easy to learn and implement.I have been using the strategy over the last few months and have had incredible success with it. I have also had a couple of losing trades but far more winners so I am still in the green. Here are some suggestions to increase your profitability with this method:Go to strikes that offer a higher probability. A majority of my losing trades were at-the-money strikes and got stopped out. I use tastytrade and go with strikes that offer around a 70% or greater probability of profit.Use highly liquid options such as the SPY, QQQ, IWM etc. They make it easy to get in and out and have tight spreads. The book says to set your take profit at 75%, in my experience that takes a while so I shortened it to 50% and increased my position sizing. For the love of all that is holy do not remove your stop loss. Set up bracket orders so you have a take profit and stop loss and let that baby ride. My largest loss came from me trying to roll down a credit spread, the order never filled and I had to sell at a loss higher than my premium I received. It was my biggest loss and a very costly lesson.I'll update this review a year from now and give an update. As of the time of this review I have everything in call credit spreads while the market is going down. That's after months of doing put spreads while it has been going up since Nov 2023. Happy trading!

Clear, understandable, useful, and actionable--great value for the money!
Because many trading books promise a lot, but deliver little, I originally bought just the Kindle version of this book, figuring "How can I go wrong for $3.99?".Halfway through the Kindle version, I ordered the paperback version--because this book has so much useful content, I wanted to mark it up, stick Post-It bookmarks in it, and use it as an everyday reference. And at $14, it is a great value for the money! The book covers important trade setup criteria like implied volatility and the VIX; best success practices based on back-tested research; why just a few simple indicators are all you need for trading credit spreads; and much, much more. The book is written in a very clear, understandable style, simplifying (without "dumbing down") complex concepts like option delta, theta, and gamma that are essential to understand to trade options successfully.Plus the author offers all sorts of free bonus material on his website, which are also very useful and actionable! After just a few weeks of paper-trading to develop a solid written trading plan with workable trade management contingencies, for the last several weeks (and starting small), I am already consistently making a few hundred real dollars a week with credit spreads--mostly based on what is in this book.Highly recommended!

Great tool
Trying to learn all I can about credit spreads and this book reinforced what I knew already and went into detail about some things that were new to me. Highly recommended. Quick read too, that's always a plus!

good tool
If you have some knowledge, this book ties it all together for you. Some of the terms they use might not be suitable for true beginners. But a little homework makes this a good reference tool.

Good Book on trading.
Enjoyed reading the book. I plan on going back and referencing the specifics on the trades more and starting some of the specific techniques. I'm currently just using the wheel method. December 2022 right now, so I'm trying to learn more secure trading methods since market is so volatile right now.

This is okay. I've seen better.
These are nice but it’s not what I expected.

No nonsense investment advice
As a mostly passive investor I’ve historically been ignorant of options categorizing them as dangerous and something too complicated to dabble in. Oliver’s book is short, to the point and provides relevant and current examples of how to execute various credit spreads as a method to safely boost income in my portfolio.I’ve successfully started implementing his strategies with successful results and no longer fear the option.Unlike many other authors the strategies presented in this book and others in the series are no hype, but sound, repeatable long term wealth building strategies which resonates with my investing style.I’ve since picked up most of the other books in the series and can attest the others also live up to this same standard.

Easy to read examples
Good short read. Some basic fluff chapters but over good.

Credit Spreads
Well laid out; clear explanations and examples; content is not overwhelming, yet thought-provoking (e.g., exit strategies based on credit earned—this was an aha moment for me).

Improve your stock market performance easy peasy way
I have been trading stocks since 2005 and intraday option trading and spreads since 2016. This is the kind of book that I wish I had when I started my journey in 2005. It would have drastically reduced the learning curve and would have resulted in me being much richer. This book cuts to the chase and makes complex topics very easy.If you are starting out your journey then do yourself a favor, stop going to youtube channels and get all of Freeman Publications books.Highly recommend.
