A few months ago, my Jetta suddenly flashed all kinds of errors on the dash. Yet, my old OBD2 tool did not turn up any code. So I bought this one as it says it is specialized for VW cars, hoping to find the cause of the issues I was having. Indeed, this tool was able to pull additional information from the car, which allowed me to figure out that the car battery's low voltage caused all the troubles. It is simple to use, and has many advanced features that my old OBD2 does not have. I think this is a very good tool for VW cars.

I bought the KW350 to to read and clear fault codes on a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta after rodent damage to the main harness wire caused all sorts of dashboard lights to come on and after repairing the affected wires I could not get the airbag light to stop lighting up on the dashboard. However, when using this device it detected around 10 total faults that apparently even though I managed to get their respective dashboard lights off they still had faults lingering in the background as they were never actually cleared by a tool like this. In the end not only was I able to clear the airbag fault so it no longer light up on the dashboard, but I was able to clear all the other lingering faults stemming from the aforementioned wire harness damage that had since been repaired.Note if you had a fault and didn't know what the issue was this tool would allow to you read the fault code number and other information related to it which you could then look up information on it and either make the repair yourself or at least know what to expect when you take the car in for repairs and of course if you repair it yourself this tool allows you to clear the fault code afterwards.I also updated the device using the update tool from the KONNWEI website and it was easy enough to do.All in all I highly recommend this product to any VW/Audi/Skoda/Seat owner for the special VAG functionalities it is capable of.

I'm on my 3rd VAG car, since all of us need to reset oil/service at least once a year this would pay for itself in the 2nd use. Additionally the ease of resetting airbag faults and checking codes before going to the mechanic so you don't get ripped off.Using a device specific to the VAG group, I was able to check all systems (not just standard ODBII). On the first use, I was able to see that my Automatic Transmission needed an Oil change (something that is not accessible with standard ODBII) This might have meant a huge cost later down the line. additionally, It reported the specific reason for my ABS not working, saving in cost troubleshooting sensors and tech labor.

Very great budgetable product with easy interface. The price is in budget and not overpriced unlike many other scanners. I use it for my Audi and it definitely keeps me from going to the dealer and spending hundreds of dollars. I can diagnose the problem with this scanner myself, fix it, and clear the codes. Would definitely recommend!

Update. Good while lasted. Dead now.Not able to contact sellerI tried it on three different vehicle from different markets - Audi Q7- EU, Jeep Grand Cherokee -NA and Lexus RX330 - JP. Tool adjusted and communicated with vehicle very easy.Likes: Live data, recording and playing was working on all vehicles, Vin number detection also working and showing all modules .For the Audi, was easy to connect, reset oil light, major repair time and do battery coding (my battery was just couple weeks old so no issue coding it again). Read and reset codes also no issue. It just got hung one time throttle adaptation because the engine and key were not as expected but second time was no issue. I did not tested brake reset.The other two vehicles had no codes so I was not able to check if reset works, but I would not see why not.This is what I was looking to have, a cheap tool to cover more vehicles and have a quick indication of the issue.

I bought this test tool to use it on my 2017 Audi Q7. I tried a different OBD2 Tester just before I got this one. The difference is that this one has special functions for Audi / VW which is very useful to do services like brake pad change and clear other warning lights that other universal OBD2 could not. I was able use it to release and retract the electronic brake system so that I could have the brake pads replaced without being charged a lot of $$$ by the dealer. I think it has already paid for itself on its first use. I highly recommend this tool for anyone who owns Audi or VW.

The scanner works with Audi/VW as stated. I was able to clear a service needed reminder, and it looks like I can also reprogram for a new battery. That's the good part. The bad is that it won't update when connected to my Windows computer, and support ignores all requests for help.The scanner is fine, as long as you never need any help from support.

After repairing my electronic emergency brakes on my 2008 Passat 2.0T I had a fault that would not clear no mater what they said on the internet. I found this to be inexpensive so I decided to give it a try. I did everything it say it could do. I found faults I did not know I had. Inspected, repaired, and clear the faults. Now my car dashboard doesn't look like a Christmas tree.
