The book is a beginner book with overall knowledge of pipelines. I recommend the book if you are looking for sth easy to read.

The title of this book should be Gas and Oil Pipeline Integrity Handbook, and the abstract should make it clear that this book is written for the Gas and Oil Industry. It focuses on welded steel pipeline with cathodic protection systems installed. This doesn't apply to the vast amount of piping used in the water and wastewater industry, which is what I am interested in.
