Doesn't Hold As Tight As I'd Like
First off, this is technically only 1/2 of the system that Teknatool makes for tool rests. You'll need to buy one of the "bars" that go on top of this if you want it to be useful at all. This isn't an issue. It's allowed me to buy 6 different tool rests relatively affordably.Where things start to go off the rails a little are that the set screw to hold the bar on top of the posts don't always hold them lock solid. This is the big downside to the interchangeable design. It has a little habit of twisting a little when you first mount it on the lathe. Usually it'll tighten itself up at that point so it's not slopping back and forth, but it does mean that the first time I put it back on the lathe, I tend to have to adjust it after I've first locked it in place to account for the drift. That said, I would still recommend this product. Build quality is solid, there's plenty of accessories, and the only major issue is more of an inconvenience than a deal breaker.

Might be out of square but will replace!
Purchased the 9027 tool rest bar and 9024 tool rest post. They look and feel great. The post i ordered was not square to the tool rest, so i contacted the company about the lifetime warranty and no questions asked sent me a new one. AWESOME!I recently switched to carbide scrapers and now this is too tall. Wont go down into the neck of my midi lathe enough to put the scarpers where they need to be. I kept the bar nice and smooth with paste wax which seemed to make the tools glide effortlessly.

This doesn't fit the NOVA 46300 Comet II Variable Speed Mini Lathe
Its about a 1/16th inch bigger than the hole in the banjo for the Nova 46300. It doesn't fit even though this says its 5/8ths. I still gave it 4 stars because a 1/16 isn't much so I plan on turning it smaller and using it. Its perfect for making my own tool rests. If you need the tap its a 10mm x 1.5 Tap & 8.6mm Drill bit. works good but height adjustment has limitations.
I like it seems to be a great idea. The sides that are indented for a wrench to tighten keep falling into the area where my lock down screw is and I cant get it to tighten.. So the height has limited adjustment to lower the tool rest.

It works
I especially like that I can change the tool rest without buying the whole thing.

Mind what you're doing. pay attention to your purchase.
yeah, I made a mistake buying this one. it has a 5/8 inch post. I went by the length, after viewing so many products, and over looked the width.anyway, my brother has a 5/8 post on his midi lathe, so I gave him a bowl rest and this post. he was happy, and I was too.

works great. I had to cut about half an inch ...
Use this for my Jet mini lathe ... works great. I had to cut about half an inch of the bottom to make it work for what I needed. Fit and finish are great, will order more for more tool rest setups.
