Great compressor for the money
Purchased this knowing that I would only use the ac compressor, oil, filter and some of the seals. I put it on a 2001 Tahoe with dual climate control/ rear AC so I new the accumulator wouldn’t be work.Compressor fit and finish was great, swapped everything over In a couple hours. Compressor had a port on the back for high pressure switch which was a pleasant surprise. Had it charged and blowing ice cold same day, I would definitely purchase products from uac again.

Evaporator Fixture not welded up properly
I installed the A/C pump and it was perfect. The evaporator however was a little smaller and the mount for the main hose was welded on vertically instead of at a 3 o'clock position. The hose is not flexible so I had to force it into position to be able to attach it.I am concerned about it not sealing long term and perhaps causing the hose itself to fail from the stress.I did not have time to request a new replacement and I am committed to the install now since the unit is charged.I the picture you can see the old versus the new. The hose is molded and not intended to be forced to conform as I had to do.

Will not buy from this seller again.
Full disclosure I bought this used, to get a little bit of a discount from AC discounters. UAC doesn’t give any customer support for this seller. Because I couldn’t communicate directly with the seller and UAC didn’t do customer service for the seller I decided to return the kit exactly as it arrived. It did ship fast and I got my refund right away. However, the condition of compressor and the missing parts was terrible. So like I already said it was used. The used compressor was supposed to be inspected and tested before shipping. It arrived dirty, like it had been recently replaced. The kit was missing the oil, and orifice tube, and included the wrong accumulator. The kit was supposed to include the accumulator for a system with rear AC. It was completely wrong. There was no way that the used compressor was inspected or tested. The parts were thrown in the box haphazardly and were not securely packaged. I had the impression that someone had returned a kit and the seller sent it straight out to me without even looking in the box it was sent back in. Anyway I don’t recommend purchasing from this seller. I ordered another kit from RYC here on Amazon. I was able to speak directly with RYC customer service and saved about $30 dollars on a rebuilt compressor that I am happy with. There is a full review for that compressor kit as well with more details and installation tips.2000 Chevy Tahoe LS 5.3 V8 4x4 w/rear AC.

Threads in bolt hole came out
Everything works but where one of the freon lines connect to the compressor half the threads came out. Luckily I used a longer bolt and was able to catch the bottom threads
