Got this for my son's dog who occasional wonders off. The functions are great. Setting it up and using it are difficult. Navigating the menus is confusing, especially if you want to set more advanced features like sharing the tag with my wife's phone. My phone loaded the SmartThings app from Google Store but wife's phone would not. It did load from the Samsung Store. Apparently only one of the two will work. For my wife to also see the tag on her phone, she has to get permission from my phone as well as my configuring this to be possible. It was back and forth between the 2 phones. Sharing the tag with someone better be someone you can trust as they can track you as well as the tag.An amusing feature of SmartThings is a search for trackers that don't belong to you to determine if someone put a tracker on you or car or whatever.I did not enable the button push on the tag ringing my phone since I don't want the dog to ring me.

The media could not be loaded. After many testing (and watching YouTube videos of other people testing those against the Apple tags), I can tell you that those works better than the Apple branded ones.Location reporting is frequent and accurate too. The tag itself has replaceable battery, which is great. Once it's depleted, you just have to replace it, and you will be good to go again, versus having to just throw away your tag and buy a new one, like some other manufacturer does.Tag is sturdy enough that it can be used "as is" on your keys chain or baggage. However, there are plenty of protective silicone case option on Amazon if you prefer to have it better protected instead. Pairing was a breeze, and the tag paired with my phone right out of the box, without the need of difficult steps to do.Good to keep in mind: You will need a genuine Samsung phone to use with this tag. I believe that it will NOT work with Google Pixel phones or iPhones. At least right now. Maybe later they may come up with something compatible with all phones. But for now, this tag is limited to Samsung phones only.

My husband and I used this tile to track our bags going to Europe last summer. We had to take multiple flights and each time the tile tracked my bag until I arrived in Rome accurately. I highly recommend this product. I haven't used it since last summer, so I'm not sure about the battery life.

Lots of comments about the accuracy of the location tracking and it came in handy when my keys fell out of my coat pocket at a restaurant. But I want to comment on the button.The button is customizable with two settings, one response for short press and one for long press. I have quite the commute so I'm frequently texting my wife to let her know when I'm leaving and to give her an estimated time when I will be home. When I do arrive home, I text her that I am home and want to turn on the driveway lights.Instead of doing this manually, I used the tasker app to customize responses to the button presses using Javascript. Now if I give it a long press, my phone will send her a text with the distance and eta. If it's a short text, it sends an I'm home message and automatically turns on the light. If I hit traffic, it's really easy to just give it another long hold and it'll send an updated eta.It's quite convenient to have customizable buttons to do cool things without me having to take out my phone and this is a great feature that the Apple tags lack.

Does what it needs to do... I just bought it coz im travelling soon... Keep this in mind that it Works very well with samsung phones onlyusing smart things app... If you dont have samsung phone it will not work even i have smart things app installed

I m prone to misplace my company issued Token that generate one time password (OTP) for work VPN connection.... with the Samsung tag... I have "lost" and easily find it at least 3 timessame with my car key
