Writes well on slate. Haven't tried it on chalkboard but plan to soon.

I got these for my niece to write on her chalkboard easel that she uses inside her house. I didn't want to get her traditional chalk because it makes such a mess. These worked perfect on her chalkboard and did not stain the board!

These are heavy and dont feel like they will break. Very good quality. The packaging was crap though.
