These filters work great to make cold brew in your Filtron Cold Brew home model or Toddy Cold Brew Makers. The coffee will be double filtered and the process will be much easier as all you need to do is toss the paper filter with grinds.

Bigger is not always better.
These do work as a paper filter in the Filtron. My complaint is that they are gigantic! I have used the Filtron for a few years now, and always use the paper filters. This last batch is extremely large. I preferred the ones that fit in the container and were easier to work with, especially when I put the plastic ring on the grounds. It's a first-world problem for sure, but it is a hassle. They also tear quite easily when trying to clean up, meaning every cleanup ends up a mess.

Fits a Toddy
These fit in the Toddy, but they aren't made for the Toddy. So the pleats make it a little difficult to get the coffee in without it spilling over the sides. That said, the Toddy has the felt filter too, so this just makes clean up easier.I didn't find that it ripped when I took it out. I had the trash can ready and I just pulled the filter out and tossed the whole batch in the garbage. These would be great if you composted too.

Way too large for using easily with Filtron
Technically functional on a Filtron, but excessively large making it very cumbersome and difficult. I would not market this as compatible with filtron and Toddy. They’re different sizes.

batch of cold brew the filters work like a charm
If you make a 3/4 lb. batch of cold brew the filters work like a charm. However, when trying to make the 1# batch which requires more water, the filter burst when being removed from the basket and made a horrible mess down the side of the kitchen cabinets. The extra 1/4 lb seems to expand with water past what the filter is capable of holding. First time, it simply ripped as I rushed to place over wastebasket; second time, what a mess. I'd stick with the 3/4 lb. Having said that, I used Starbucks Pike Place roast and the final product is simply delicious every time. So, beware the extra load!

They work fine but are too big, wish they had a smaller size...but regardless we make it work!

Better Than Filtron !!
These filters are taller than standard Filtron filters and don't let any grounds escape and clog up the felt bottom filter.

Filters make for easy cleanup
I use the paper filters In my cold brew Filtron system. It makes for a really easy cleanup afterward.

Use them with the regular filter if you use a finer grind.
Paper filters are good for use in the Filtron (along with the regular filter) when you use typical grind coffee, which is really a finer grind than what Filtron recommends. If you don't use the paper filter, the finer grind will clog the filter faster (especially if you are making decaffeinated - for some reason it seems to be extra oily).As others have said, it also makes cleanup a lot easier.
