Navision & Dynamics NAV User Guide: Volume 1: Advanced Tips for Accounting and Financial Users

I've ordered and read many of the Navision books and have found a lot of information in them. This one has "some" information in it, BUT the book is only 68 pages long. Take out all of the blank pages and you are down to about 55 pages. At $50, that's about $1.00 a page - and many of those pages are screen shots! What little information there is in the book is helpful, but it does not cover the Role Taylored Client application, only the Classic Client. With Microsoft moving Navision in the direction of the Role Taylored Client, most of this info is becoming irrelevant. I suggest you save your money and look online for answers - especially Customer Source which has a lot of very helpful documentation. Or try one of the books from PACKT publications (sold thru Amazon) which I've found very helpful.

This book is little more than a pamphlet with very little content. It's NOT worth $50. Please avoid. If this were priced in the $5 - $10 range it might be worth it but really should just be a free pdf or web page.

I am totally appointed this small books is no use at all. If this book in many volumes you should have inform that. Then we could decide which volume to buy.

This is so out of date as to be useless. I actually threw my copy out.

Outdated and limited in scope, wish I could return. Such highly customized software cannot be contained in these few simple pages.

In a world of over verbose manuals on Navision, the author makes detailed step-by-step instructions on how to solve common issues with Navision software. It includes numerous screen images helping the average person navigate the complex world of this accounting software package.I really don't know what the other reviewer is smoking but he's got to stop and look around at whatever else is out there in order to have a proper opinion. I've sampled many books on the subject and become lost every time.

This book is a great resource for Dynamic Nav users. The detailed step by step guide makes using Dynamic Nav a cinch. It helped me get the job done and the very clear instructions leave no room for user error. This book is a must have!!!!. I am more confident going forward in my endeavors now knowing that I have such a great asset at the tips of my finger. I highly recommend this book for any new Dynamic Nav users . Thanks to this book, I am a now Dynamic Nav expert.

For those of you out there that learn how to use products by "seeing" rather than just "reading", this book is for you. Ruth Lestina's Navision & Dynamics NAV User Guide will be able to walk you through the necessary functions with great, clear and detailed instructions along with accompanying screenshots. So for those out there that are new Dynamics Nav users, this product is for you.

Do not buy this. At 70p per page its really just a few screen dumps. £30+ is just fraud.
