Hi. Sorry for the late reply as didnt check the mail.Yes, you can cut it into half with a sharp knife. Its made up of soft plastic. So make sure that none of the plastic material particles are left in cake as they may be dangerous if consumed.

Yes it appears to be filled with air. My 3 year old grandson loves this dinosaur!

Q: Is it hollow can small object fit into it's mouth? and fall into it's belly? I want to drop small food items in it's mouth to pretend we feed it?

There is no opening in the mouth to allow food to fall in. It is squishy and not hollow.

Yes, probably but it's top heavy so it may be difficult to make it stand up if you cut it in half
