Hotwire Anemometer | Handheld Anemometer with Telescopic Probe | Measure Wind Speed to 0.01 M/S

Great hot wire anemometer for use in field measurements. Gives good and stable readings through a ton of pretty extreme weather conditions. Happy with the results so far.

We received this and sent it in to be calibrated. It was past the 30 day return by the time we got it back. The calibration company said they attempted several times but could not get it to qualify. So it's new but it cannot be certified to deliver accurate readings.

I compared temperate and velocity readings against highly accurate field piece devices, as well as calibrated evergreen telemetry devices.Temperature was consistently off by about 10% (7 degrees F at test readings) Velocity was unreliable with wildly fluctuating readings, and was off by an order of magnitude (True velocity as measured by a calibrated instrument was 300 FPM, this device had readings fluctuating between 20 and 60 FPM.)

Highly recommended !!

Fluctuating way to much with very little if any air changes, impossible to get a accurate reading with because it fluctuates so wildly. Operating the menu structure if very difficult and not user friendly at all.

easy to use, but I don't have a way to test the accuracy.
