It was pretty self explanatory how to install. All the pieces were included and in all probably took about 1.5 hrs. We already had a post in so that saved at least another 1.5 hrs plus however long for cement to cure! Looks so much nicer than the standard plastic posts/mailbox combos. We’ll see how long it lasts through the temperature changes her in the mid east coast!Tip when screwing mailbox onto post. You need long arms if doing this alone and grab some caulk/quick seal to put on the end of a socket wrench to keep the washers from slipping off. There is absolutely no way to keep that sucker on when screwing in the nut! Put the nut inside socket then washer on the sticky end. You’re welcome 😉

I’m very impressed with the quality and the look of this mailbox post. I was very skeptical about installing a plastic post. But once you put it on, it’s a game changer! What a beauty. Easy to follow directions but you may need an extra tool or two to make all work out. I installed it by myself, and used an existing mailbox.

It really stands out, sturdy and has a stately look!

Could be a little more durable for the top part if u need a heavier mailbox
