My kids loves them
We have a non verbal autistic kid who loves blues clues and this are great the sensory feel from the maraca. And the electronics one is great for all the visual sensory stimulation. I recommend it takes a beating

Too bad both maracas aren’t electronic! Cute toy
The media could not be loaded. Leave it to VTech to come up with a very user-friendly toy that’s pretty easy for toddlers to figure out! My son is 2 (26 months) & figured out how to turn it on and play with it right away! He’s really interested in numbers, colors, and music lately, so this is a great interactive educational toy for him.The only thing I don’t like about it is the fact that only one maraca lights up and makes sound. The other one is simply a shaker. It really frustrated my son at first, because he couldn’t find the switch to turn it on like the other one. It even has symbols and music notes on it, which makes it look like it does something besides just rattle. That one doesn’t get played with. They recommend this toy for ages 2+, but honestly younger babies would still love this toy and probably enjoy the rattle more. To me, the non-electronic maraca seems like an infant toy.The musical one is adorable. We haven’t gotten into Blue’s Clues yet, but it doesn’t seem to matter; it’s just a cute blue dog to him! It has a few different modes: Colors, Numbers, & Musical Instruments. It also has a “solo” & “jam” feature. To be honest, I haven’t quite figured those two settings out, but it seems like one plays more music/beats, and the other one lets you make your own music. So far, the colors mode is his favorite! The numbers one is awesome too, because it counts up to 10 as you push the little slider buttons. You can also shake it and it makes a cool electronic rattle sound. This is definitely worth $20, but I feel like the second maraca is sort of pointless for a 2 year old. I’d rather pay another $10 or so for two electronic toys! They could have made one focus on colors and numbers, and the other one focus on letters and musical instruments or something. This is a great set to add to your toddler‘s musical instrument collection. The buttons are well-made and the maracas are very durable… They’ve already been thrown on a hardwood floor and are still intact! Would make an adorable gift, especially for little Blues Clues fans. 💙hope this helps! ☺️

Only 1 shaker lights up/makes noise
Cute but don’t sing any blues clues songs, only 1 shaker lights up and plays music, the other is just a plain rattle.

Fun for both babies and kids!
I’ve been using more toys with lights and sounds when playing with my baby and they really seemed to like this one! Obviously I have to push the buttons and hold the toy, but for older kids who can hold it, this would be a great toy for them as well.Highlights:+ The blue maraca has three tracks for colors, numbers and instruments and there are two volume settings+ You can play along with the “jam” feature or play “solo” and press the various buttons at will+ At any time if you shake the blue maraca it will change the sound to make a shaking maraca sound vs. what’s indicated on the button+ The instrument sounds actually sound like the instrument on the picture+ The various colors on the maraca light up and are bright+ The jam session is good to help kids learn numbers, colors and instruments+ The purple maraca is fun to shake along to the tunes of the blue maracaI, like some other parents, can be leery of toys that play music and make a lot of sounds but this one is actually not bad. I like that it’s interactive and can help verbally teach kids different things and can help with dexterity to hold the maraca and can spark curiosity by pushing buttons.
