Liverpool Anfield StadiumAnfield is a football stadium located in the district of the same name, in the city of Liverpool, England. The stadium was built in 1884, and was the home of Everton Football Club until 1892, when the club left after the financial disagreement. Since then the ground has been the home of Liverpool Football Club, a teamed formed when Everton left. It is an elite class stadium by UEFA criteria, and has hosted numerous international matches at the professional level, including England matches. The stadium was also used during Euro 1996.The stadium comprises four stands: Spion Kop, Main Stand, Centenary Stand and Anfield Road. The record attendance of 61,905 spectators was established in 1952 in the FA Cup match between Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, This record was established before individual spectator seats were installed following the recommendation of the Taylor report. In total there are 32 spaces to accommodate visitors in wheelchairs, 22 of which are intended for general sale, 8 are for visitors and another 2 for fans remain for use in an emergency. There are 36 spaces for fans with impaired vision. These places are at the bottom of Main Stand, with space also for a companion.
