Less pleats than original filter
Original BMW filter made by MANN in Germany has 65 pleats and it is made from better synthetic media. This one made in China is not made of synthetic media and has only 48 pleats, therefore it will only have 74% area of filtration of original filter through inferior media. Small savings over original filter will be wiped out by need to change expensive synthetic BMW motor oil earlier.
