For use with Siemens generators that use Nexus controllers, the Siemens ST100R12C ST Type automatic transfer switch with 12 branch circuits. With 2-pole, 250 VAC contactors, it is electrically operated, and mechanically contacts for fast, positive connections. It has a 30-foot pre-wired conduit for connecting the transfer switch to the external connection box and a 2-foot pre-wired conduit for moving circuits from the main panel to the transfer switch. The dual coil designed switch has an open transition, 160 millisecond transfer time and is suitable for use only on Siemens air cooled generators (8–17 kW). The panel provides transfer capability to a select number of critical circuits, as sed to the entire house.
