Q: do I have to use my transformers or do they come with them

This is a halogen bulb conversion from the factory HID assemblies. However you can use LED bulbs in these.

I have a 2016 GMC Sierra with HIDs and these headlights wouldn't work. These are LEDs and they won't interchange.
