El plástico es rígido de buena calidad, su pantalla pequeña pero es suficiente.Es una buena herramienta para los que no nos dedicamos a la mecánica profesionalmente y así saber en que está fallando el coche. I got this Creader from amazon and I was going to do a review video on this scan tool.The little cover on the obd2 connector can be removed before you hook this code reader to the car’s obd2 port. When you turn on the ignition, you can see a cool Main Menu interface and it is related to four different selections – Diagnose, DTC Lookup, Tool Setup, and Help. Generally speaking, this code reader is really easy to use, you can select the item that you are interested in and put the OK button to access the according page.From the page of the Diagnose, you’ll see the Monitor Status together with the Diagnostic Menu. All the functions are as same as the instrument on the back of the package. It is interesting that if your car is in a normal condition, you would read no DTC and Freeze Frame Data. However, you can get the live data and know the real time parameters of some sensors. What’s more, by accessing to the I/M Readiness, you can be sure about that your car is ready to pass the emission inspection if you see that the listed items show “OK”. BTW, with the function of DTC Lookup, you can just input the DTC number according to the tips listed at the bottom of the screen to get the codes meaning. And I like the fact that it does give you a little bit of background information on certain things in the Help selection if you don’t know at all about cars.To sum up, The LAUNCH CR319 with various obd2 functions is small and portable, I like it. For the price of $22.39, you cannot go wrong about it. This is definitely a good buy, whether for a beginner or a mechanic like me. "

Lately my truck has been having the check engine light on. Just to have a mechanic to read the code can cost $25-45 (I live in NYC). So, with this I can read the code myself and contact to get the issue resolved without paying that extra fee. I learned my truck needs to be driven on the highway more to avoid the code to keep coming on. Since I have this, it has helped tremendously. Easy to use and the codes are easy to erase (if that is your desire).

The items arrived on time. Though I haven't use the product. But it appears very good.
