Dorman 76994 Vent Window Lock - Universal

Absolutely wonderful! My husband needed them for his semi. I didn't think we would be able to get them anywhere. But we found them and they work great!

Got these for my 87 g20 Van for extra protection against break ins , the piece of rubber that comes with it was too thick to fit properly, I used a neoprene rubber washer instead from home depot, fit is good now . Over all great product

Even though these vent window locks need some coercing to fit right they solve the problem of having to find expensive OEM replacement latches. On my Fiat Spider the latch is glued to the glass, and no adhesive holds them like the original. Since they kept falling off I researched and found these-I'm hoping they'll stay on for many years to come.

I have a 1996 Ford F150 and the driver side vent window lever snapped off. I soon realized I would not be able to replace the handle and I needed a new vent window assembly which is costly.I found these vent window latches on Amazon and ordered a set.Amazing!!! These work perfect and we’re easy to install!! I had to gently hammer them in place but it’s a nice snug fit and the vent window is now secure and there is no wind noise going down the road and no rain getting in..I did not use the rubber pieces that came with package as they made it too tight but nice to have just in case.These saved me hundreds of dollars and tons of aggravation. I bought these skeptical, but figured they were worth a shot. I put vent window seals in my 1973 F100, and it didnt make a difference with whistling and wind noise. I installed these near the top of the wing window, and shimmed the factory lever at the bottom. Silence! I've got another set for my 85 D150, we'll see if im as happy with that one but im confident I will be.

Not what I was really looking for but works since my actual latches aren’t there. So now I don’t have to worry about someone getting in my truck via vent windows

Worked great for my ‘86 Silverado, you really can’t beat the price for the protection these give you. On older trucks especially Squarebody’s one of the reasons they are so easy to steal I because of the vent window latch. Now I already had locking window latches from factory but just for an added layer of protection I got these!
