Very good book for those, who want to start playing chess!
As I'm not new in chess and have been playing since 1999, I'd really want claim that this book is a perfect guide not only for the beginner but also for experienced amateurs! This book was written by a young wise man, who knows and teaches chess for already a couple of years, but he is definitely talented! Recommend!

Book to advance from beginner to intermediate
The book covered many tactics, most of which I already knew, but it did identify situations when a specific tactic might be more useful than I had previously thought (for instance, pinning a piece to a square, not just to another piece). The problems seem simple enough for a beginner to understand, but someone who considers him/herself an intermediate player could glean something new about one or a few tactics. For anyone who wants to seriously become a great chess player, you will probably need to hire a personal coach, but this is a good book for anyone just starting.

Good book!
My son has been playing chess and I had more information on training. I got a lot of interesting information from this book.

Good book
Good and clear explaination of chess tactics, with appropriate examples.Faulty english and text lines'alignments. Not a big deal!In the "Forks" chapter, it might have been better to warn that the forking piece, in some examples, must be supported in order not to be captured. To be recommended to intermediate players

Good tactics examples
This book is for those between beginners and intermediates. The 20 tactics problems required a chessboard so I could understand them. The book is brief, but useful. Also the chessboards in the problems are big enough to be easily seen.
