Precious data recovered
I had a NAS controller that failed and couldn’t access my RAID. With the help of this unit I was able to pop in my old HDDs plug in to an old laptop running Ubuntu. Using UFS Explorer RAID Recovery for Linux I was able to get my precious data back. This unit is sturdy professional build and also quiet even with built in cooling. StarTech never fails with quality products

WORKS FINE. GOOD SPEED. HARDAWE SOLUTION! NO DRIVERS OR SOFTWARE NEEDED!
It took me a while yo figure out how to set it up properly as the manual has some important steps missing. After online research I managed to setup RAID0 array, initialize and format it in Windows 10. The best thing is that it is fully hardware solution. Doesn't require any drivers, software, RAID0 building and other steps. You simply use mini switch inside the enclosure indicating the type of array you want and enclosure will do the rest. It will take some time, so wait until it stops flashing the lights. After that you have to use Disk Manager Utility to create partition and assign your RAID a latter. Otherwise you will not see it in the list of available disks in Windows 10.

Caja RAID para 2 discos.
Caja para conectar a un NAS u ordenador compatible con dos discos de hasta 3 TB sin problema.La he tenido con discos de 8 TB sin mayor problema, el único inconveniente es que hay que encenderla y cuando los discos están encendidos, se apaga y enciende de nuevo para que reconozca los discos al no estar soportado más de 3 TB, pero soporta más de 3 TB con ese truco.Algo lento en configuraciones RAID comparado con configuraciones RAID por software, se nota que es una caja antigua, pero funciona muy bien con los discos sin RAID y para usos de copias de seguridad, no uso intensivo.

Realmente sorprendido
Compre este articulo con un poco de incredulidad, resulto muy compacto, facil y sobre todo rápido en RAID 0 - 300mbps read/write. habia usado de la misma marca otro con los mismos discos que bajaba la velocidad al calentarse, hasta ahora este no sufre de lo mismo.
