I cannot recommend these volumes enough! Extreme care is taken when putting these "Dance Classics" collections together -- sourcing from the original master tapes (whenever available), mastering to the highest quality, and including hard-to-find 12" mixes on CD (including tracks which were previously unavailable on CD).Simply put, out of my 4,000+ CD collection, the mastering on this volume of "Dance Classics" and all the other "Dance Classics" editions by Rodeo Media is, by far, amongst the best! Mastering engineer, Arjan Rietvink, takes a unique approach to the sound on these collections, giving them a previously unheard warmth and crispness without extreme audio compression. Yes, these songs have been mastered to a loud standard, but they are not harsh. Unlike many of the mastering jobs today, these recordings sound natural. The integrity of the original recordings has not been lost. They sound absolutely amazing! My main reason for buying these Rodeo Media compilations is the excellent sound provided by the Arjan Rietvink Mastering team, featuring, in most instances, the best-sounding versions of these songs available.All tracks, with the exception of "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me [Dub Version]" (Culture Club), appear to be from the original master tapes or digital sources. For example, Crowded House's classic "Don't Dream It's Over" appears on CD, to the best of my knowledge, in its extended version for the very first time, transferred directly from the original Capitol master tape. It is, in my opinion, the highlight of this volume. Robert Palmer's "I Didn't Mean To Turn You On [Extended Dance Mix]", remixed by Bruce Forrest, makes its CD debut here as well.This special 3-CD volume is loaded with CD rarities and unique versions, too. Eurythmics' "Sexcrime (Nineteen Eighty-Four)" makes a rare remastered appearance on CD in it's special 12" remix by Dave Stewart & Eric Thorngren. Although this extended mix is a little choppy in some parts, the audio quality overrides any editing imperfections. Check out that bass line! Incredible! Furthermore, 12" mixes like "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" (Whitney Houston) are hard-to-find and newly remastered for CD. For those wondering, the "ARP Extended Edit" of Human League's "Don't You Want Me" is a CD exclusive. "ARP" stands for Arjan Rietvink Productions. Pieces of the official "Extended Dance Mix" (which is actually an instrumental) has been merged with the "LP Version" in order to create a special vocal extended mix of the classic. It's very well done and another highlight.If you love '80s 12" mixes, killer sound, and a generous track selection, I cannot recommend "Dance Classics - Pop Edition: Volume 2" enough! Check out the other "Pop Edition" volumes as well. (May 2013 saw the release of volume 10, which I've added happily to my music collection). "Dance Classics" also, as of writing this review, has issued over 50 more additional volumes of remastered 12"/extended mixes, usually in 2-CD or bonus 3-CD sets (like this one). I've added a number of these releases to my collection already. Every volume has been given the same care that this release has been given.My only complaint is that I think that these releases have somewhat gone under the radar by '80s/12" music fans since most of the volumes of "Pop Edition", as of writing, have limited track listings or limited Amazon reviews. I hope to change that. These collections need more exposure outside the Netherlands.Very highly recommended.

DUEL　EYE　TO　EYE　-Bitter Sweet-　　Propaganda　　7：36相変わらず分数の間違いがあったので計り直しました。私の目当てはユーリズミックスとクラウデッド・ハウス、ロバート・パーマーでした。ユーリズミックスの 曲の入り方が前曲と繋がってたのをカットしたような感じでしたね。ちょっと気になりました。 ロバートの曲は フェードアウトの最後の所で 雑音らしき音が入ってますね。 私が持ってる12" コンピ CD に収録されている同曲のレコード落しの音源には入ってなかったです。 ヘッドフォンで聴かなければ分からない程度ですが（笑）ホイットニーも初入手ですね。 タイトル等を記入しときます。 参考になれば嬉しいです。
