Rekey Kit for Kwikset Smartkey Locks with Extra precut Keys (6)

Super easy. Took me less than a minute to do.

This is so great to just bring the current key, unlock the door, insert the special tool, insert the new key and shazam, the lock has been changed. The old keys no longer work and you have new keys. Saves so much time and money than replacing locks and it's now easy to have all locks match the same key!

I was a little hesitant at first because this wasn't a Kwikset product But, after reading some of the reviews, I decided to purchase it anyway. The package arrived ahead of schedule and included very clear instructions on how to rekey your existing Kwikset lock. I was able to rekey 3 locks in under 5 minutes. Very happy with my purchase.

I liked they offered 6 keys for the house. We have seen multiple 4 key offers, but only on3 for 6 keys. Not sure how large families handle keys. Anyway, the instructions were clear. They worked for each lock we tried. I had trouble with one key that is harder to turn than the others in two of the locks, but it does work if I wiggle it around some.

All were machines perfectly and it made it easy to have one key for all entry points into the home. Comes with the kwikset key so you can re-key a kwikset lock wether that be a doorknob/Handel or a deadbolt. Much easier than getting keys made at a shop.

Arrived with everything except the actual keys. I ordered 6 keys and only received the instructions for rekeying and the rekeying tool. Useless.

So far good product. Will buy again!

I just had to watch a video on how to rekey a kwikset lock and after that it was just a easy and simple process to rekey all of my locks.
