Two extra hands
A friend of mine had to recently move from his Apartment to a House that he bought in the same area, and being so cheap,he wouldn't hire movers to do the job for him! He instead bribed us(bunch of his friends) to help him move for Pizza & Soda,as if we were 7 Years old. Anyway to make the story short, this is when this little giant gadget was put to work:Big TV stand that he had to move, these straps did wonders! when normally four people had to carry this big thing, only two people handled it with ease,of course some breaks here n there. Side by side Refrigerator was moved so easily using the same Straps, although you have to have some muscles in order to be able to handle the weight and pressure of these things put on your forearms. The Forearm Forklift Moving Straps are worth every penny you spend to buy them, they will save you some money in moving expenses, not to mention the occasional use around the house, where you and another family member can handle the moving big objects around. I highly recommend them and out of experience not only a testimony!! I hope you find my review helpful in making /breaking your decision about buying this product,if so please hit that YES button while you're at it, Happy shopping :)

KNOCK OFF STRAPS- INFERIOR QUALITY - from "Amazon, LLC." Seller
I had originally purchased the "Forearm Forklift" lifting straps made by the Above All Co. from a different source other than Amazon. They are very affective. I am 5'2" and petite framed and my husband is 6'0" and built like He-man. I was able to carry mattresses, armoires, long bureaus, high boy bureaus, fragile and expensive antique chest. I was able to change my arm position within the straps to carry items up a flight of stairs and off pick up trucks with great stability. The straps have black cushioning around the edges where your arms go through, which prevents the straps from cutting into you. The straps have been used many times by my family and loaned to many others. The straps are incredibly durable and still look brand new despite all the use. With that being said, I decided to order a second pair to give away.1- The straps I ordered from Amazon arrived with a crushed cardboard box. (The original Forearm Forklift was in a durable clam shell box.) The wording on the package has many spelling errors all over it. (Some of which are so bad that I can't even make out what they are trying to spell.)2- The straps are thin, flimsy and I feel like if I pushed my nail hard on it, my nail would go right through it. The straps are also thinner.3- The black material that is supposed to cushion your arms... well I think my toilet paper is probably thicker than that material.4- There is no brand label on it signifying it is the Forearm Forklift.I would not lift anything with these straps! However, the Amazon shipping box arrived in perfect condition and in a timely manner. Returning to Amazon seems to be a breeze.***Please note: The seller was listed as "Amazon, LLC". :(

AMAZON INTEGRITY ???
Echoing numerous other reviewers who point out that this product is falsely advertised and described. Description says straps are 3 inches wide whereas the ones I received are 1 3/4". Amazon must have several suppliers for this item as it is listed several times at various prices. Some suppliers may be supplying the described item but obviously some are not based on the complaints. Amazon has to have known about this problem for years as there are numerous complaints about(2009, '10, '11, '12) yet Amazon apparently chooses to do nothing about it.I've noticed that many reviewers who have returned items ordered on Amazon because of problems with the items will complain about the item quality but then go on to compliment Amazon about their "great" return policy. I can't agree with them. It's no skin off Amazon's nose (or $ out of their pocket) if they knowingly continue to sell shoddy, dishonestly described merchandise knowing a certain percentage will be returned (at the customer's expense) so they don't deserve the unjustly earned praise. This reflects a real and disappointing lack of integrity on Amazon's part. I will notify them of their ongoing dishonesty but doubt that anything will change if numerous previous complaints have had no effect.Les Vliet

Just be ready to return.
This is one of the "odd" items, where you see the 5 star reviews and aren't sure whether the company overseas is just shipping junk to 30% of the customers hoping they don't return them [due to cost] or if the reviewers are fakes. The straps I received are NOTHING like in the picture. Before I bought these I'd seen the 'occasional' review saying how it was a scam, but I assumed it must just be a nut - and Amazon wouldn't allow it. [This was before I realized that "fulfilled by Amazon" means - "Buyer Beware"] The straps I got were "dollar store" quality and about 2 inches wide with no padding. Anything of ANY weight could not be lifting without stooping and they cut into your arms badly. I actually went to Lowes to compare to ones THEY sold for $6 more and the different was like night & day. I'd recommend you NOT buy these right before a move without time to consider other options like this:http://www.amazon.com/Shoulder-Dolly-LD1000-2-Person-Lifting/dp/B00022749Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1391695102&sr=8-1&keywords=shoulder+strap+lifting+system ** NOT RECOMMENDING THE ONE ABOVE, because I know nothing about it or that brand. It IS the TYPE we ended up borrowing from an audio/visual guy I know. The shoulder strap system we use was better than the one above with lots of padding and a really wide strap. Unlike hanging a strap from your arms, which causes you to use your 'lower back' to compensate, the shoulder strap lets you just "LEAN BACK" with a straight spine and hold the item away from you. It was awesome. Me and another guy moved a PIANO to the back of our moving trailer, where at that point we had help getting it up inside.
