Hard to assemble
Difficult to assemble, easy enough to put parts together but with glass there is no flexibility, I had to keep trying differed corners in different locations until I was able to get it right, took about 45 min.

parts don't fit
According to my caliper, the glass is about .320 inches thick (not 8.00 mm, not 5/16 inch), and the bracket space is about .305 inches. .320 doesn't slide into .305. Forcing metal brackets onto tempered glass seems like a really bad idea. Still debating whether to return the whole thing, or grind down the inside surfaces of the brackets. Hmmm. Eight brackets with 32 inside surfaces, of which I would need to grind down 16 surfaces by about .015 inches. This is not pleasant.

Shattered
I bought this in February, kept it under a cover, and put a tall vase in the middle to make sure water didn't accumulate. Basically I took very good care of it. I took the cover off this evening and found the one side completely shattered. Not worth the money and cut I got from the glass.

Poor Instructions .
Besides poor instructions, glass was difficult to insert into corner connectors and difficult to align screw holes.

Wow was this more difficult than I imagined
Seems simple enough to assemble at first glance, but Wow was it difficult to slide the metal brackets onto the glass panels. The top pieces all fit, but the bottom pieces with the rubber feet all seems to have been manufactured with the gaps just a tiny bit too small. I had to file them down to get the glass to slide in - ended up taking most of an afternoon. Assuming this was just a manufacturing glitch, didn't want to have to wait for a replacement.

Brilliant
Great, does as it should & protects my gas fire pit flame. We do use it upside down though as the rubber feet give you a gap of about 2cm for the wind to get through otherwise
