Q: Will this or other clocks you sell work in sw florida gulf of mexico waters

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but no tide clock will work as the gulf is not exposed to the tidal influences. I will upload a photo to this offering so you can view where tide clocks will work. Red areas are a non working zone and green are a go. Hope this helps.

Q: What is the diameter?

The dial diameter is 4" and the mounting flange diameter is 6".

Q: What is this clock made out of?

The clock is made of plastic. It has a hinged cover. I have two and I am very pleased with both.

Q: Is this weatherproof enough to go on an open dashboard of a boat?

No, it isn't weatherproof. It's best kept indoors. However, I personally used a clear silicone around the interior glass lens and I have no issues of leakage. But please note if you follow what I did you will void the manufacturer's warranty.
