Wemo Mini Smart Plug Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant & Apple HomeKit, 3-pack (Certified Refurbished)

Took a bit to set up, likely due to weak wifi. But once set up, works great.

USE AN EXTENSION CORD WHEN INSTALLING THESE PLUGS SO YOU CAN ACESS THE CODE ON THE BACK OF THE PLUG. I COULDNT INSTALL THE PLUGS USINF THE CODE IN THE INSTRUCTIONS BECUASE THEY WERE DIFFERENT THAN THE ACTUAL WEMOS.NOT SURE IF IT WAS BELKINS FAULT OR AMAZON, BUT ALL THE PLUGS LINKED WHEN I FIGURED IT OUT.

To start with, they put the QR code label for installation on the back of the product. That means when you plug it in the QR code is hidden against the wall. So when you’re asked to take the picture of the QR code, you can’t see it. You have to unplug the unit, at which point the Wi-Fi broadcast takes so long to start up again that the app times out and you have to start over. I didn’t think that went out very well. Then 3/4 of the time this piece of junk fails to register with the app or with the Home app. So it’s pretty much useless. Today I spent an hour with technical support and ended up no further along than when we started. Still doesn’t work. You’re going to be buying a brick.

I purchased a 3 pack of refurbished Wemo Mini units in June, 2021. these were I believe refurbished by Belkin themselves so I had confidence in their reliability.I was looking for a couple of Wemo's and the refurbished 3 pack looked like a good price so I thought I'd try it rather than new and save a few bucks. I used one of the units immediately after they arrived. I used a second one sometime later. Each activated without problem, just like new.Unfortunately, I left the last unit in a drawer until a couple of days ago when I decided to activate it and use it. To my dismay it would not and will not activate. I called the number provided on the unit for technical support. They talked me through attempting to reset the device without success. They then told me that the unit likely has a hardware problem and that I should contact Amazon to see about return or replacement. Of course the return window was 6 months and this is 8 months so I am out of luck getting a replacement. My fault for not checking that all 3 units worked immediately when I received them.The purpose of this review it to make people aware that if they buy refurbished multipacks of Wemos they should check and activate all of them as soon as they arrive. Don't do what I did. It only makes the units that do work cost as much as new ones if you ignore a dead one so long that you have no recourse but to throw it out.Last thing. I would definitely purchase refurbished Wemos again.

Two of the smart plugs connected fairly simple with Apple Home Kit, one had some issues, but after resetting to factory settings it connected. However, it doesn’t show up in the WEMO application like the other two. The plugs work great while in the house using WiFi, but when using remote only the two that show up in the WEMO can be activated.

I have had 2 for a few years and got 4 more on a great deal. Easy to setup and configure.

Had really finicky connection issues. Would often get a device is not responding error. After a few months 2/3 compleatly stopped working. I've tried the factory reset multiple times, but I always get an "Accessory not found" error

Use for Christmas tree and room lamps. Works well.
