A CD player that doesn't skip and easy to use
I use this CD player in my car. This is a CD player that works like a built-in CD player that you'll find in a car. Sounds great, does not skip on bumpy city streets and is easy to use. So far, its going well.

Just looking for a CD player?
Just what we were looking for: a device that just plays a CD. My wife has a medical condition that restricts her to her room much of the time. She became interested in audio books, and is quite content with the local library's sizeable collection of popular novels in this form (CD sets). Doesn't need the much larger, multi-category selections available on digital audiobook websites.Player doesn't cost much relatively because it doesn't have other features we don't want ( like a radio, cassette player, external speakers - and so on). It's square, compact in size and thickness. It isn't very much larger than a CD. It has a stylish design, and a simple layout of basic function buttons, cover release and power switch. My wife thinks its "cute", and I know what she means. It comes with earbuds, but we prefer headphones. It has 2 jacks for headphone plugs. Rechargeable battery.

Does what it says it does!
I am about to take a lengthy car trip and knew I did not want to face it without access to my own choice of music! My 2018 Mazda has a great sound system, but no CD player - rather, it is set up to support streaming services or other "new" technology. Not for me! After much research I found this gem - the right price, and the sound is great. I hook it up to my sound system using the cable provided to connect the aux plug in my console with the headphone output on the CD player. I suppose to someone adept at cell technology, the thought of fiddling with CD's would be unthinkable, but I am very pleased! My only (minor) complaint is that I am having a bit of trouble getting used to the buttons and functions on the player...

Beautiful device, good support
Quiet machine, looks beautiful and sleek on my sideboard next to my hifi speakers. Customer service was excellent in helping me resolve issues I faced with my device’s battery.

Nothing better at a lower price
This is a solid, simple cd transport, built-in low power stereo amplifier, and rechargeable battery. I charged the unit overnight and got 6 hours of continuous use before it started to lag. Pretty impressive for a compact unit. The transport seems the real jewel here. Works extremely well and professionally. The amp is clean enough and has adequate power for earphones. I used one of the earphone outputs as a line out into a system—per the enclosed instructions—and it was acceptable. The output in this case is controlled by the volume control as it would be for earbuds. There was a sweet spot where the volume out was enough to provide clear signal to the music system and not distort from overdriving the connected amplifier. But it was a fairly specific level that had to be found to make it serviceable. Once found, it sounded just fine. All in all a really good value if you need something more than a “discman” but less than an audiophile cd deck. And—it travels with you nicely.

You Get What You Pay For
OK CD player with a weak preamp. Stops mid song sometimes and then continues playing. Very annoying!Would not recommend.

Lightweight, Compact, Perfect!
After 19 years with a cheap ol' Radio Shack cd-player, I was looking to replace my dying machine. I chose this model because I liked the look, it seemed to have good reviews, and it was the right price for me. I've been using it for over a week now, and so far, this Monodeal has met or exceeded my expectations! The buttons are nice; well spaced and textured. Very responsive as well. The light is bright, but not blinding. And the dual headphone ports are a surprising bonus. I've utilized them several times now. The battery has a decent charge time; although I listen so frequently I have to re-charge it every other day or so. But it charges quickly and is less of a hassle than dealing with double a's.CDs themselves fit nice and snug, and even some of my more beat up discs can still be read with the anti-skip! I tend to play with the anti-skip off, though (disabled by holding the EQ button) for better audio quality! Haven't used the modes yet, but the EQ options are actually really nice. Not too overbearing, but adds just that bit of extra sheen or wool that you might be looking for on thinner-mastered recordings. Note: I didn't use the earbuds included, but my own pair of high-quality headphones.Perhaps my only complaint (and it's only a minor one) is that when lowering the volume to the lowest point, the audio seems to fade out in the right ear quicker than the left. But most portable CD players I've ever owned do the very same, and you really have to crank it low for this to happen. At normal to louder listening volumes, the balance is perfect!Overall, I'd rate this a 5 star product. It's definitely an improvement over my old model. Plus it looks way cooler! Here's hoping it'll last the next 20 years. :D

If you want value and quality playing your CDs , this will work
I'm very happy with this. I have a massive CD collection that I still adding to and I have cd players and just about every room of my house. However, my office where I spend a lot of time during the day did not have a CD player. I hooked this up with auxiliary to my Bose portable sound doc for iPods and it sounds amazing. Haven't had one issue with it at all and I can really take the quality as I'm used to running my CDs through a dead and player. Easy to use functional and has not skipped me once. I haven't used the Bluetooth yet but I'm sure it's cool
