I like to travel light so I normally only take a carry on bag for any overseas travel and extended time away. I tried these bags on my most recent trip and fell in love with them. Not just because they allow compression, but also because they allow you to put your dirty clothes in the same bag with a divider from the clean side. This eliminates the need to find extra space to fit in a laundry bag for your dirty clothes. This worked out great since all my cubes fit just right and there really isn't room to fit an additional bag.

I have purchased Eagle Creek, TRIPPED (second best option after TASKIN), and a few other zipper compression packing cubes. These TASKIN packing cubes have an incredibly durable zipper and compression lining. I have included some photos in this review so that one can see the plastic reinforced lining under the zipper. I've had two Eagle Creek zipper compression packing cubes rip at the zipper seam, which has been frustrating due to how expensive they are. The design TASKIN has implemented has seriously reinforced the zipper seam of their packing cubes. I have pushed these packing cubes to the limit on what they can hold. The blue material used, as well as the reinforced zipper, showed no signs of stress at the cubes' seams.While I've never had my TRIPPED compression cubes rip at the seam, have not been able to achieve the same level of compression with them as I was able to achieve with these TASKIN cubes. The TASKIN cubes' compression zipper is also so much easier to zip shut. (I am assuming this has something to do with the design used to reinforce the zipper seam.)Another great feature of these TASKIN zipper compression cubes is that one side is mesh. It is a durable mesh, but more importantly the mesh lets me see what I packed in the cube. It is only mesh on one side (the two-sided design is for clean and dirty clothes I believe), but that is a great addition.The four packing cubes (2 large and 2 medium), at this price point, cannot be beat when it comes to quality and durability. I would highly recommend these TASKIN zipper compression packing cubes over any other options on the market today.

I spent probably too much time shopping for compression packing cubes, so much so that if my trip was within a few weeks before my search began then I would have missed my flight and probably my whole vacation. You would probably think, “just pick some, they’re all the same”… well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you are quite mistaken. Taskin’s compression packing cubes have taken all that’s great in other packing cubes, put that into their packing cubes and (as if by magic) compressed them down into what has turned out to be the epitome, no, the Platonic ideal of packing cubes!Okay, the hyperbole is fun, but here’s what you really need to know. They’re very well constructed, with a rip stop nylon exterior on five sides and a mesh panel on the sixth side. I tried them out with three weeks’ worth of travel clothing, and they did an admirable job getting everything organized. Some nice touches include the barrier in-between the sides is sort of ‘floating’, so you don’t miss out on getting a cube filled if you only need one side packed at that moment. Also, the zipper around the cube for compression has a clear plastic strip all the way around, which seems to do a decent job in preventing the zipper from being snagged onto the fabric. They’re also a nice cloth tab (made from material that reminds me of a seat belt) that you can grab ahold of to get the compression zipper going.I really cannot think of anything negative to say about these compression cubes; for what you get they’re reasonably priced, possibly over-engineered (but in a good way) and they have a lifetime warranty against any manufacturing defects — I don’t know if they mean my lifetime our theirs, since theoretically corporations can ‘live’ forever, but they probably mean the lifetime of the product — so don’t go do something like bequeath them to your grandkids in 2050 and tell them that your dying wish is for them to contact Taskin to get that zipper looked at. Or go ahead and do it, I don’t care. Just give these compression packing cubes a shot; I don’t think you’ll stay awake at night regretting how you listened to a stranger on the internet and the stranger led you down the wrong path.

I have not used the product yet. So I can’t truly rate it. I will be using soon for a 60 day back packing trip in Europe. I did stuff some clothes in the large cube to practice. They feel very durable and appear to be of high quality. I need to practice a bit more with the compression zipper but I am glad there is a strip of plastic to prevent the zipper from getting stuck in the fabric. That was a good design feature.I like the idea of a separate compartment for the dirty clothes. I will come back in after my trip to let you know how they held up in a back pack for 60 days.

The quality and workmanship are top notch. Well made. The wet and dry sides are the best features. Great price. I have been very impressed with the Taskin brand I love it.

You should definitely buy these. The clean and dirty compartments work great for travel. I have already purchased multiple sets of these bags and they still work with no issues. The only thing bad that I noticed was that the lettering labels fall off but I didn’t really care about that.

I had a few Cotopaxi travel bags and they worked great but needed something a little bigger and with compression.So I looked online and read about these and decided to give it a try and glad I did!These van hold a lot of clothes, I have used these in a 2 week work trips and they can fit my work clothes plus the rest of my clothes. Quality is great, comes with YKK zippers.Only wish you could choose both the same color but that's something not really important in the end.

I was finally able to use these today. I had to take a fragile package to another city. Clothes compressed well and I was able to wrap the package and then use a cube to compress the package. It was really well protected. I really love these compression cubes. They are very sturdy and well made. Zippers worked well. Love, love, love the separate compartments in the cube. Well done Taskin!

Taskin macht meiner Meinung nach die besten. Wobei die erste Generation ihre Nachteile hatte aber diese Überarbeitete ist der Hammer. Klare kaufempfehlung

Overall I'd say nice concept but it didn't have the coloured parts, green for clean and red for dirty. So I'm not entirely sure which side is for which, it's what you make it I suppose. Expected better quality tho with the zips which is essentially the backbone of compression cubes.

I've never used packing cubes before, let alone compression packing cubes. But with all the travel/luggage horror stories these days, I decided why-not and order these. I tested out the smallest pack with 10 XL men's t-shirts and voila! Can't wait for our trip to Italy with only carry on luggage!!
